I had visited this place first time back in 1978 as High school boy mainly to see Chepauk stadium, then in 1985 to get attestation from my uncle who was JD, Agri dept then. Then I myself came to the PWD building in 2005 to work for HD and stayed there for 2 years.

சென்னை மயிலாப்பூரில் உள்ள கச்சேரி சாலையில் இருந்து அப்பு(முதலி)தெருவிற்கு செல்லும்போது நடு தெரு சந்திக்கும் இடம்வரைதான் சர்தார் ஜங்பகதூர் தெரு அதற்கு முன்பே வலதுபுறம் திரும்பினால் அதுதான் தேவடி தெரு அங்கு ஒரு பங்களா முன் கேட் போடப்பட்டிருக்கும் அதுதான் தாங்கள் குறிப்பிடும் இடம் நான் அந்த இடமருகே எனது 16 வயது முதல்(1969) 1983 வரை வசித்தேன் உள்ளே போய் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்ற என்னம் எனக்கு வந்ததில்லை
