Ced Gee is being very silent and modest about BDP......he was the actual "ghost producer" behind the "Criminal Minded" album.

For those who stepped to this interview for the first time: This man is a legend, a figure and a hip hop pioneer who changed the game together with one of the dopest crews to ever exist in the state of hip hop, The Ultramagnetic Mc's.

Great Mike.I saw the ultras when I was 17 in the uk and travelled 200 miles to get there and had to find a homeless shelter to sleep in after the gig as I had no loot.I entered the rap battle that night so went in early to sound check and Ced was there with the rest of the group and I could easily have stepped up to chat and get an autograph and pic etc but I was rooted to the spot,I was frozen in awe.!.It was like they from another planet..I have all of their records and went on to make 18 vinyl releases myself as a HipHop MC. Peace Mike.

Ultramagnetic MC's was a trail blazing Hip Hop group of the 1980's and '90's. The originality of this group gained respect from most of the serious emcees of the day. Their off-beat rhyming style was far ahead of it's time. Kool Keith has been credited with originating the art of ending bars with words that don't rhyme. Their complex lyrical skills have influenced artists such as Organized Konfusion, RZA of the Wu-tang Clan, Jean Grae, and a host of others.

Japreme, I clicked the link and liked what I heard! You got skills, you sound like you from the Wu camp. It'll be nice if you could get exposure but rap like this only Wu Tang, Nas and a few others get acknowledges for these days (unfortunately) but keep putting in work, your style is still appreciated by people like me. Your in the Ultra category also.

Ced has aged quite a bit. I'm definitely an Ultra Fan, I have the cassette Critical BeatDown. Liked what Ced is doing with the youth, which is much needed. Ultra got the classics, that Ultra sound is Iconic! The vocals combined with the composition, puts you in that zone.
