Cedar Point is our families favorite. Something for everyone. The new Boardwalk is fantastic and truly a family area and the new asst of historic rides. And THE LAKE ViEWS amazing. We always stay at HB and enjoy the surf lounge in the evenings. Bay Harbor inn for dinner … Forgot The new Grand Pavilion outstanding i.it’s truly a park like no other in Al ll aspects. We totally enjoy

I would've put Dorney Park in the B tier personally. I think it has a great ride lineup with rides like Talon, Hydra: The Revenge, and Steel Force. It also has one of the best waterparks in the Cedar Fair chain with Wildwater Kingdom.

I'm from Kentucky and I'm grateful Kings Island and Cedar Point the best 2 Amusement Parks apart of Cedar Fair are the closest to me.

I've been to every Cedar Fair park less Canada's Wonderland. My Tier Rankings are as follows: S- Cedar Point (Best Park period) A- Carowinds, Knott's Berry Farm, Kings Island, Kings Dominion B- California Great America C- Worlds of Fun, Dorney Park, ValleyFair D- Michigan's Adventure TBD- Canada's Wonderland (I'm guessing A, either after Knott's or after Kings Island) Not Fair to Rank- Gilroy's Gardens- Rides are D, but it does look wonderful in the very short time I was at the park.

I’m very curious to see how Kings Island will compare to Cedar Point for me. I’m going to Kings Island very soon and while I found Cedar Point to be great and probably in the S Tier for Cedar Fair parks, it wasn’t quite as great as it could’ve been. There are plenty of things to love about the park, such as the coaster line up having a case as the best in the world, the appearance and atmosphere being great, and the food was very good. But things like the operations being a mixed bag, the locker policy being confusing at times, and being unable to ride magnum xl-200 because of it being closed do hurt the park a little bit for me.

I think you underplay how much Knott's is held back by its operations. If it had like KI or even CP level operations, it would be a clear S tier in my book. It's got everything else you would want in a well-rounded theme park: great theming and park appearance (especially now with Fiesta Village getting an upgrade), great mix of coasters and well-themed dark/water rides, great food and snacks, and a good layout. But man, it's been bad. All the coasters are operated poorly, Ghostrider is almost always at least 90 minutes unless it's a particularly dead day, and I think I've only seen Log Ride run both sides of the station once since the park reopened for COVID. Why yes, I am a mildly disgruntled home parker, how can you tell?

It’s been longer since I’ve visited Knott’s than most other Cedar Fair parks so I don’t think operations are as fresh in my mind. For me the roller coasters aren’t quite strong enough for it to be in my S tier even if the operations were strong.

Kings island one makes sense I love it and the park atmosphere is just better than cedar point still love cedar point tho!

I agree putting Kings Dominion down as a B tier mainly for me due to rides being closed and poor operations on a few of the better coasters

Overall, I'd agree with this, though I'd probably put Carowinds at the bottom of the A tier, maybe even below Kings Dominion, which is a much nicer park. Gilroy Gardens isn't managed by Cedar Fair anymore.

I would call KI my home cedar fair park, so I visit frequently and I’m always impressed by their ride ops. I guess I should prepare myself for disappointment when visiting other parks

Wonderland got screwed over by Paramount and Cedar Fair is still trying to fix it almost 20 years later. The park was nicknamed Disneyland of the north prior to Paramount and it was honestly one of the most beautiful parks in North America. The place was stunning! Saying Paramount destroyed the park is an understatement. Thank god Cedar Fair is restoring it back to what it was.

Canada's wonderland is definitely becoming an S tier park. cedar fair is giving them a lot of love and are doing a great job at undoing paramount's mistakes

My Rankings S Tier 1 Kings Island 2 Cedar Point A Tier 3 Kings Dominion 4 Carowinds 5 Knott's Berry Farm 6 Canada's Wonderland (thankfully most cedar fair parks are great unlike another regional chain park *COUGH SIX FLAGS COUGH* B Tier 7 Worlds Of Fun C Tier 8 California's Great America 9 Dorney Park D Tier 10 Valleyfair 11 Michigan's Adventure (the worst cedar fair park is just okay much better than anothe regional chain park *COUGH SIX FLAGS COUGH*)
