I was in the audience and it sounded simply amazing!! This was at NHK Hall in Tokyo, Japan in December 1987.

Although Donna Summer is known for disco music she could sing any type of music. Her gospel songs are fantastic. I wish she had done a Gospel album.

She never did a Xmas album.....they tried to get her to record a classics album......she refused......but to hear her sing Kenny loggins Gloria Estefan the Carpenters rod Stewart on & on......is good enough for me!!!!! An unparalleled voice!!!!!!

+BIGBABEROBINSON Those are her sisters Mary Gaines Bernard and Dara Bernard. They really blended well together vocally as a family. The Gaines girls as they started out could really sang!!!

Although in the credits appears the names of her two younger sisters, Mary and Dara Bernards, only Mary can be confirmed. The other, that also has a great voice, is not Dara. I think she had died already. Sorry!

I believe her brother-in-law and some dear friends were killed in a car accident on their way to see her concert in Lake Tahoe in the mid 90's. That's what I remember of how the song was introduced when she sang it live. Tragic. But this song was very moving live in tribute. And sung so well by Donna and her sisters Mary and Dara.
