While baby boomers may deny they are aging, that denial robs them of the very perks that aging brings, such as permission to be authentic. With age comes wisdom, freedom and an understanding of what is truly important in life. Embracing age is an art to be savored and celebrated lest we reach our end days in frustration, disappointment and fear. Research proves that your thoughts about aging create your aging experience. If you think, speak and behave in gratitude for another day of living and use the power this moment provides, you can enjoy great happiness and collectively boomers can use their ‘grey power’ for great good.
Ann Ranson believes that having some age on her is a good thing.
Since leaving media in 2005, Ann has been busy. First establishing her coach and training practice, then becoming a purveyor of fine loose-leaf teas in 2010. Then in 2014, Ann reconnected with her latent desire to work on the issues and opportunities related to aging in America. She advocates for the benefits of advancing years and reminds us that aging is an art that invites celebration and contemplation.

We can loose life before Age. To come to terms with age is to see we have lived longer than so many. The Aging population must come to terms with death ....we will die We are fortunate to be able to survive our years.

I'm doing pretty well on most of all of the choices for aging well as Ms. Ranson layed out here. The one area I still have a tough time accepting is the way age looks on me. What does that mean??

You can choose to view it positively or negatively. Choose positive, whatever that means to you! Maybe it's a new source of entertainment & a reminder not to take yourself too seriously. Or what matters on the inside.

☼ everyone quotes the same de-bunked, unreplicated nonsense research. dont be negative, or stop taking risks, sure. but this isnt the only way. or even the additive way. this stuff has been around for 50yrs. it is not right. i like the new experiences and letting go biz. thats probably good.
