Thanks for the upload. As the caption at 20:05 shows, this concert was actually on July 5, 1986. The world premiere of "Liberty Fanfare" was on June 5 at Boston's Symphony Hall. Williams conducted it again on July 4 at the Statue of Liberty, and then the next day in Boston on the Esplanade.

Thank you for this upload. My husband and I were at this concert when he was stationed in Boston. Wonderful memories!!

I know this says and July 5. But we started watching the pops when my dad was stationed on Hanscom in the late 80’s. My middle school yrs. I miss this tradition, but am glad they usually post the concerts now the day after hers on KZfaq. Is it not televised nationally anymore? I remember as I said when this was the show to watch on the 4th and now it seems to be the capitol 4th and New York.
