In today's home vlog, we go to the the Celebration Florida Farmer's Market and then show you our haul when we get home. Then we make a delicious vegan creamy peanut sauce and noodle dish for dinner. The next day we head to the the park for a bit and then Tim gives you an update about how he's getting back to his normal work out and exercise routine after surgery. Then we end the video with a little update about the vids you can expect to see soon on the channel. Thank you for hanging out at home with us today! Hi Trackers; glad you are home safe. Quick point about your eyes Tim, you've been in the sun at Castaway Cay and I'm assuming you used sunscreen. Contact Dermatitis can occur from sweat, mixing with sunscreens which can irritate your eyes. This usually happens to me after I've vacationed someplace super sunny.

Came here to say this! I get the worst reactions from using sunscreen under my eyes I had to start using a different kind for just there haha. But yeah I think you’re right!

Might not be the problem for them, but my husband got bad sunscreen eyes today after building stuff in the backyard, no fun!

I have found I can only use mineral sunscreen on my face for this reason. Other sunscreens make my face skin burn and get rashy.

Hey guys! Tim, my son had the same issue with his eyes for a while and it wound up being his contact lenses. We tried changing solution, etc., but nothing helped until he went back to just wearing his glasses for about a year. Now he’s back to his lenses and is fine, thankfully. I hope that helps and that you get it resolved soon. Great video as always-stay safe and healthy! ☺️

I always go to farmers markets intending to buy ALL the fruits and veggies, and I end up walking away with just oranges or something simple, and then so many snacks! Lol! Our farmers markets always have a kettle corn vendor where you get the giant bag full

i always get the puffiness around my eyes the allergy meds always helps. i live in midwest so im sure its even worse in florida where its much warmer. We love going to our farmers market always find new and interesting things

*Raises hand* I have the eye irritation thing. Mine is from allergies. Zyrtec helps along with washing my eyes out at the end of the day. I use ocusoft to wash, but you can also use baby shampoo. The eye doctor also recommended an omega-3 supplement, which helps way more than I expected.

Man I’ve been suffering from dry eye on my right eye and just assumed it was from scratching my eye (which it still could), but that also started around the time I started getting allergies (only itchy eyes) so I’ve now ordered some omega-3’s! Thanks for your advice! I’ll look into the Ocusoft too ☺️

Nice "haul" from the farmer's market! I've got to get back to a local one here sometime now that I'm retired...it was always when I was at work! Oh and you guys had me at "allergy season," it is horrible right now on the Central Calif. coast. And yes I've had the same problem, really impacts the eyes. Happy week ahead!

Jen info I lived near eucalyptus trees when you steam it close your bathroom door so it doesn’t go all over house incase you have allergy to it! I get headaches sometimes when I was near it a lot. Also those rib eyes I cooked on cast iron put in about 4 pads of butter and let it melt and get hot and drop those steaks in! Oh my it is good and well seared if you like it that way! ❤️👍🏼🌷

That was fun to watch...Tim be careful with your exercising please, it is very easy to have hernias return not long after surgery. I had 2 Hernia surgeries less than 6 months apart.I hope you are all feeling better, I too suffer from allergies and sinus problems.I love Spring, but not that part of it...😃♥️

Sous vide and then sear in your cast iron skillet. The sous vide really gets the flavor in and makes it so tender!!! Best choice ever!!

Yes Tim, yes!! Get a sous vide!! It was the best kitchen item we could have invested in!! We have an Anova and we love putting our steaks or pork chops in it!! Best tender steak you’ll ever have!!

Both of my children had eczema and it goes hand in hand with allergies and even asthma. Eczema is dry skin and it can itch. They never had it under their eyes but you described what they had. Best of luck with it.

When I was little we used to go to the farmers market all the time, and there used to be a bakery/bread place that I used to get elephant ears. I loved them! They were flakey and not overly sweet and I dream about them, but they haven't been at the market in over a decade now. But y'all are making wanna go to a farmers market now

It’s crazy that you mention feeling under the weather but it just being allergies. We live in California and my husband started sneezing, slight cough bad congestion, sore throat for just a day. Took Covid test was negative. My daughter now has the same symptoms and so does my sister-in-law. All negative for Covid. Just really bad allergies. Feel better Trackers! 💕

Hi, guys! Just wanted to mention that, though I’ve always struggled with allergies, mine have been particularly bad this season - even with Zyrtec taken regularly. Because I’ve been through it before, I knew I’d have a nasty sinus infection. I managed to avoid the SI by immediately taking Mucinex Sinus - great stuff!!!!

I get that eye thing this type of year. Always assumed allergies. Usually just use a warm towel compress before bed and seems to work.

TIM!! It could be over tiredness !! I have uvitius (uv sensitivity in the eyes) I often get puffy eyes put 2 spoons in the fridge over night then in the morning lie down and place the spoons on your eyes ! X

Hey I’m glad your feeling better Tim. Also to the question of itchy allergy eyes. Oh heck yes mine and my daughter-in-law’s eyes get so itchy and if I rub them too much they can get a lil raw underneath. So we both put a coat of Vaseline on the the top and bottom of the eyelids at night before bed and it soothes the itchy raw skin by the next morning. After cleansing your face just try it one night it works wonders. It’s our go to during allergy season. Hope it works for you. 🥰

Last year I had the same identical problem with the puffiness. Doctor told me to go and get the over-the-counter eyedrops with ketotifen. Works like a champ. I'm using them again this year to keep the puffiness down still works great I get them at Walmart.... their brand called "eye itch relief" it's around $8-9 for a bottle.

I have both seasonal allergies and eczema. I can definitely confirm that my eczema tends to flare up when my allergies are really bad. All the histamines cause a lot of inflammation. So, maybe it’s that? 🤷🏻‍♀️ My allergies have been especially bad so far this season. Even my husband is feeling the pollen, and he usually doesn’t suffer from seasonal allergies. Keep taking the allergy meds, Tim!

Hey Tim I have the same problems with my eyes. I use Visine allergy multi-purpose eye drops and Claritin dissolve. That helps me a lot. I also take Benadryl at night. You may have something in your house that you may have an allergy to. Plus it's almost spring so everything is just up in the air.

You can get dark circles under eyes from allergies. I would take Zyrtec at night. Sometimes it’s makes you sleepy. Shower and wash your hair nightly to get pollen off your body. Try to avoid going out at dawn or dust - usually high pollen count at that time of day. I’m a triage pediatric nurse.

My husband is a chef and he has sous vide ribeyes, tenderloin, ny strips....he adds rosemary, and garlic to the bag, then sears it on the grill at the end. It's incredibly tender and delicious!

I souvide for my hubby, he loves it, but I don't eat meat. But it is super easy for me because I can prep his meat and it can wait in the souvide while I make something else. Then as you say, sear it at the end. Highly recommend. We have the anova brand system.

Elderberry juice concentrate is great for allergies. Lemon water first thing in the morning helps the dark circles under my eyes more than anything else.

Do some research on Plumeria planting in the ground. I know Florida is warm, but you’ve had some cold snaps and plumerias don’t like temps below 60’s. Maybe the recommendation might be to plant in the ground for season and then you remove from the ground and put in a pot in your garage.

I get itchy all over during pollen season to be honest so it might be allergies that you might be feeling!, hope you feel better!, I take fluticasone nasal spray and because I have mild to severe asthma I use albuterol spray and symbicort to help my airways open up more when they get too tight when there’s inflammation occurring in them but anyways hope I helped!, loratidine also help a lot too!, best of wishes!

Sous vide is amazing for ribeye and filets and tenderloins. I usually set the temp at 130 for 2 hours and sear it in a cast iron skillet or even on the barbecue grill.. it’s awesome. I also SV chicken at 140 degrees for 2 hours an sear that as well. Super juicy!

I cant grow anything but for whatever reason I have had really good luck with my Aerogarden farm. I have the farm 12xl model and it makes enough lettuce for about 2 salads a week. If my family could eat lettuce the farm 24 would have been more ideal. It tells me when it needs more water or more plant food and I just give it a trim when I want a salad.

Tip: next time you go to the Farmers market bring a cooler with ice packs and when you buy items that need to stay good go back to the car and drop off that way it all stays fresher till you get home. Most people don't think of this but it's helped me aplenty.

I had that under my eyes a few years ago and my doctor said it was eczema. It cleared up with Doublebase cream they prescribed. I think you can just get it over the counter but that’s in the UK.

Sous vide is great for steaks and ribeye. It’s the best. Also get a second and in the summer do corn on the cob … ooooooo so good. Mom !! Dad !! Bingo !! Bluey !!

You can use aquaphor in the skin around it, don't get it in your eyes. It helped me a lot, a few months ago I had something similar and my skin around my eyes was peeling. I was also prescribed some eyedrops

That looked like a delicious Turkey wrap! It is so funny how guys can eat the same thing every day though. I hit a wall where a repetitive food starts to lose its appeal and actually disgusts me even if I loved it the week before.

My eyes always get terrible during allergy season. Maybe try benadryl too at night? That helps, along with eye drops and if they get really bad, using some kind of cold compress might help. I don't mind eating the same things over and over for breakfast and lunch, dinner I like to change it up! I remember those days of you guys making cheesy eggs for every breakfast, sandwich for lunch, and eating a lot of the same simple dinners throughout the week. It's amazing how far you've come! (and yet, still just seem like the same ole you!
