Isaac Hayes wasn't hypocrite at all, it was another member of his family (who's a Scientologist too) who forced him to quit South Park (Isaac Hayes got really sick at one point and someone used this opportunity) because this guy was "offended" by the episode which mocked Scientology (I don't remember which one...).

He died in real life, and I am sure nobody knows chef is still alive in South Park, kind of like Darth Vader thought of Obi Wan until he heard about Vader. Also he did die in real life too, he just left South Park because of him taking offense to the Scientology episode, hence the thetans (Scientology scam stuff).

Yeah, I don’t think the people that really did the skit actually paid any attention to that episode. Considering that that’s not his biggest fear eventually he does learn how to swim in the end. I don't know if "the winner is scientology" was a reference to the fact that Chef's voice actor left the show cause they made fun of it so they had to kill Chef to explain why he could not be in the show anymore, but if it is, it really hurt.

Well, the alien ghosts Chef had did reference a part of Chef's Voice Actor's (Isaac Hayes") religion, so that's why the "winner" was considered Scientology. However, seeing as Chef Ramsay was able to basically own them, I'd say HE was the ultimate winner. So.......I dunno. I guess it's up to you to decide.
