We are rather stunned to know that this instrument was used by MSV way back in the early 60's Thamizh films like Paava Mannippu, Nenjam Marappadhillai, Pudhiya Paravai, Parakkum Paavai, etc. Viswanathan-Ramamurthi's Background Score for films like Nenjam Marappadhillai, Pudhiya Paravai, Karnan and AAyirathill Oruvan remain as benchmark.

A wonderful insight on M S Viswanathans compositions! The magic of Mannar's music from the eyes of a famous cello artist Sekhar who is also the son of Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan!! The importance of Cello and the enhancement it gives to the situation and the entire film! A wholesome experience!!
