I just found out that one of my music teachers passed away unexpectedly over the weekend. The sudden loss of a great friend and mentor hurts tremendously, but this helps a lot, as he was a wonderful cellist and taught me much in the short time we had together. R.I.P. Ian Edlund.

Listening to this has convinced me to pick up my cello again. I stopped practicing as college began to take more and more time, but just like I find time for occasional games, I can find time for this if I try.

I've been through a divorce. It's so hard for me, there are times I cannot focus on anything and anxiety occupied me. But when I listen to cello and Bach, everything returns to its position. Clear, ordered, calming, and beautiful. Thank you for brining us these master pieces 🙂

I have always loved Bach. His music touches a wide range of mood and emotion, but with order, discipline, and resolution. Every time I hear a piece by Bach, it’s as though he is with me: his hand is on my shoulder; he is patient; he is guiding me somehow. It’s almost mystical at times.

Einaudi, the Mind of the 20th Century. He will be remembered as Bach and all his contemporary genius past, present and future. I feel the 20th century with a err of admiration, which I assure you, is without question, a compliment in an era of rap and degenerate rock and roll. The 21st century is manufactured consent and music...yet there is still time. Arise.
