Viola D'Amore is the most amazing sound. I've wanted to play one for 50 years, since I heard Walter Trampler's recording of all 8 of Vivaldi's concertos for it.

What a wondrous instrument! The transparency of the sound suggests to me a bowed Aeolian harp.

Muy buen concierto.Creo que la viola D`amore es un instrumento difícil de tocar.En todocaso,buena interpretación y en "empatìa" con la composición original.Son pocas lasorquestas que lo aplican.

I've never seen someone play a viol with a 20th century violin bow before. It really helps to cut down on the "squeakiness" viols sometimes display in fast passages.

Actually the bow has little to do with the ‘squeakiness’ . It’s the gut strings on Viols which can cause the squeaks. Whilst this looks like a 20th century bow it’s actually a classical era shaped bow and therefore an odd choice to pair with a d’amore which is in 20th century set-up ( chin rest and metal strings)- If you’re not going to use a 20th century bow why not use a Baroque bow to match the repertoire? Anyway whatever I enjoyed the performance
