Is anyone else tired of seeing the same old opposition faces week in/week out? I'd like to see a return to the 18 team league pre-1975. Play each other twice a season. I think this would help raise the standard of the rest of the league which will also benefit us.

While I agree that it would be nice to have a bit more variety, especially for away trips, I don't see how expanding the league and filling it with more tiny clubs will improve the standard..

@@lordsummerisle3139 My theory is that the smaller (and poorer) clubs in the league would benefit from the increased income. This would enable them to invest in better players and improve their standard. Unfortunately, success in football is bought these days. Selfishly, the improved standard of competition would benefit Celtic as we would also raise our level towards challenging in Europe, Some say this improvement would come if we moved to the EPL. I feel that this would kill the rest of Scottish football.

Before anyone starts Celtic fan here that was never a penalty and obviously John Beaton would have been afraid not to give it.I remember Willie Colum giving two decisions to Rangers in a match against St Johnstone ( worst I have ever seen ) these two referees need be taken out of the system. Willie Colum afraid of not giving Rangers favours. Basically Beaton favours Rangers and Colum Celtic the guys can’t help themselves !

Celtic really needed a result like that. After weeks off struggling against every team they've faced as off late. They literally got there pants tooking down and there arses well and truly spanked by every team in that group. Now have the great privilege off being named the worst football team to ever play in europe while also having the worlds worst manager in europe. So basically they needed a decent result tonight after being so badly but also properly beaten so easily in europe. They really needed the fans back on there side. Although they got the result they was after its fair to say how bad hibs were. Kinda made celtic look like they had some sort off idea off how to play nice fast flowing football. Obviously celtic can't do this for a full 90minutes. The players arent technically gifted in that department. Actually very boring game too watch tonight.
