In all honesty, the Scottish League would probably be all the better if Celtic and Rangers (who will get back to some sort of form eventually) played in another competition. I used to fully support Celtic, but now its Steinhousemuir for me.

As a city fan. I love celtic and all that but at the moment they’re playing in a league where its men vs boys. And Celtic in the PL would never work as they would have to start at the very very bottom of non league football, which is a massive money cut. Which Celtic would never agree too. But if they were put in right now. They would not get relegated but they would be bottom half. Give them a few years and with the mass amount of funds going into Celtic. Well, who knows where it goes from there. As much as it hurts to say. You’re talking about League titles here.

There wasn't a Welsh premier league until 1992. So any teams before 1992 in Wales played with English teams. Teams like Swansea, Cardiff were invited to join the Welsh league since 1992.

Alex Farnell they aren't wrong. They were found to be avoiding taxes, and then when they were told to pay back the taxes they tried but didn't have enough money and as punishment they where sent to the lowest tier and then had to work their way back.

I am Scottish, and an Aberdeen fan. I do not support merging the leagues to create a British League. I do not support the English stealing our biggest sides to make their league bigger, and our league weaker. If the English really want to help Scotland, N Ireland and R Ireland, and Wales. Then create a cross border cup where the top English teams play sides from the Celtic leagues, on top of our domestic leagues and European football. Then we can keep our history, leagues and European qualification, but also get to play big sides from England, make more money and as a result do better in Europe. If they merged leagues all the Scottish trophies would get the status of non league trophies and all the English trophies would be seen as a forerunner to the British trophies. i do not want Scottish sides to going decades without winning trophies,. It would be boring. Create a cross border cup. A British and Irish cup, or Anglo Scottish Cup return. Diolch yn fawr.
