Caledonia represents grieving & love for me. I sang it for my grandfather when he passed away, and it always connects with me when I feel more of my favorite things slipping away while trying to keep my chin above water for the future. It encapsulates the feeling of inevitability and of missing someone. It’s an absolutely beautiful song.

Living in a town called Caledonia for the past two years certainly enriches this song's listening experience. Even a decade ago, when I didn't know this town even existed, this was always one of my favorite Celtic Woman songs. And maybe that's one of the reasons I'm here now! Thank you.

My favorite song. I grew up from a young age with Scarlet O'Harra singing it, so no one will ever be able to top her in my heart, but Lisa does a pretty damn fine job with it herself. Not to mention the arrangement. This man is brilliant.

I first heard this in the rendition of Fries Om Utens by John Wright, funnily enough I had listened to Celtic Woman for a while before I heard either. I love it!

That's so interesting! I never knew that! I love this song. It is so beautiful. I listened to it when my dog died, because it was so loving and peaceful; it really helped me get the right perspective back about her. She was sweet and gentle, and the good times were what I had to remember. This is a fanominally gorgeous song.
