Outboards have really given these boat builders a lot of room. Dam that fuel burn though weeeeeeee.

Wow. Have owned 2 formulas, they were great, but clearly now they are better. Perfect boat and great video guys.

I'm not so sure. Yes there's a lot of practicality in this, but look at the way it is finished. It is not very elegant at all. Lots of white fibreglass and black rubber seals, along with squared off edges. Speakers are not very elegantly mounted, a lot of the hardware seems very "parts bin" etc. It's "chunky" and not very refined. When I think about the 2008 382 we used to have, or our 310SS runabout for example, a lot of the solutions were a lot more elegant. Formula has changed a lot in the last 10 years, and I'm not entirely sure that I think they are the top end builder they used to be. When they were doing powerboats and so on, they seemed to aim to compete with the top brands out there. Now they seem to target a very different demographic. The old Formula would have tried to compete with Midnight Express, Adrenaline, Nor-Tech etc. By comparison, it strikes me as if Formula is now doing CC's on a "budget". Not that they are cheap, but these are what, a 1/3 of the price of the top brand CC's? A real shame if you ask me, but times are changing I guess.
