Love paladins Ryu. Du, Shine and Mena are amazing players and the Blanka/guile matchups are hard for Ryu. Great tournament run from him.

@@reezyrenzel439SF4 and SF5 had two boxers. The main issue here is that they are heavily hinting that Rog is coming back, and 3 boxers would be too much.

I think Paladin is just being an awkward teenager being nice. And shine is jjst mad he lost and doesn't care. Paladin also had a funny interaction with Mena but Mena received it much better. I'm just completely speculating tho

there is some combos ed can do that requires super fast inputs that is impossible to do on classic ed i heard.

much easier anti-air, cuz ED's dp anti-air is so slow. and the standing heavy punch into late killer step is pretty hard, modern does it with auto combo.

Yeah to me Ryu might just be one or two more buffs away from being top tier. Paladin has turned into my FAV pro player. I really wonder though if hes reached a ceiling Ryu.

Those are all things Nephew has been doing for ages though? It's not an emulation when Neph has been using that, especially the lvl 1 techs.

@crimsonraiza3633 All top juri players use level 1, I mean any top player uses l1 to get the kill. I said level 1 bust outs, meaning that he was using it l1 to check drive rush, corner mix ups and lightening beast. At one point in this set mena had to drive rush into parry because nephew was playing so agro and had bust out a level 2 (?). Then there was the chasedowns and combing into feng shui. This looked more like uma than nephew who to me was a patient,neutral controlling counter reactor like punk.
