Ceramic coat your Rc’s?

A quick little video of how I protect my Rc’s and make them way easier to clean. This will cut your cleaning time in half after a heavy bashing while also making it stay clean and fresh for longer. Wax on wax off 😂

I use a coating called PrimoShield a nanotechnology coating that can be applied to any metal including polished alloy. It is hydrophobic so dirt won't stick to it and it is also extremely hard so resists scratching. Unfortunately it's an industrial coating that is used to keep trains and trucks shiny so can be difficult to buy.

Yes, unfortunately that one may be a little harder for me to get in my area.. For this one I was scared to use an actual “true ceramic coating” being that this body was plastic and not lexan. I imagine it would be okay but didn’t want to stress trying to buff out if I messed up lol. Thanks for sharing and for watching!

Interesting! Do you put that on the bodies, and how does it go with the stickers?

Yes, I put it on the bodies and as long as the stickers/ decals are 100% dry there’s no issues. For plastic bodies it adds a considerable amount of color and gloss which is a nice little trick. On polycarbonate bodies the main purpose is easier clean up of dirt and water after runs.
