Informative videos , thanks ! . One question, did you apply the ceramic coating then send it to a PPF installer ? I’m curious about adhesion issues of PPF after a coating like wax or ceramic is applied. I would think you’d do PPF first, then ceramic coating ?

Nope, ceramic coating is done last. You are absolutely right in that there would be adhesion issues with wax/sealant/ceramic already down. Process is : wash, polish, cleanse, PPF if any, then ceramic coat.

That's the way to go! I didn't have an option on my car since it was already shipped with the factory PPF. Not a huge loss at least...Congrats on the Neptune Blue, I love that color.

@@TheBTRGarage Thanks, I was waiting awhile because I only wanted either Neptune or Halo, all colors are great but just wanted those 2 only. I was also lucky to get mine for MSRP with only mats. I was ready to pay for lots of add ons because Toyota just randomly sends whatever they have since we can't order from them.

Yea, it's not great. Easy to remove though, so I wouldn't skip a car for it.

Oof yea that will change things a bit. My factory PPF was much less than that.

Yea, I got a nasty hood dent and rock chip before the full hood PPF was put on ☹️ Most things should swap right over from these cars. The seats for sure, probably the arm rests, dash parts may be the only odd ball thing?
