Beautiful work as always and the Suburban looks fantastic. I am seeing metal colored paint on the road a lot so they must be the hot new colors. They do polish and finish well in my opinion and the owner was smart to coat the paint with Ultra. Thank you for the video.

The bottles are designed that way to not let air into them. Not sure if you have had time with 150 but it is also very good. Also not sure if you are aware that the NSP's are now available in 32 oz pouches.

Brother Phil and Wife, that is some area to cover on a vehicle. As I have mentioned before in my comments, I have a 2015 black Yukon Denali XL 4wheeldrive…It has about 158,000 miles on it and is a daily driver. Plus it’s been out west to South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana several times during the winter 🥶 🥶, I’m from Florida lol…Love my big ride but it is some work to keep it looking good. I stay on top of it so it really doesn’t get to bad. You take care of these big rides and they will last forever as a family hauler. As always great video and very informative. You and the family stay safe and God Bless🙏🙏🙏

That’s a lot of real estate to coat! How much of that bottle did you use? Also, when a customer does not make a specific request regarding tire dressing (no gloss, low gloss, high gloss, etc.) how do you decide what kind of look the tires should have? Do you just pick a product off the shelf at random?
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yeah it is! For larger vehicles like this we usally use about 50-60% of the 50ML bottle of coating. It leaves enough to do a small car or half of another larger vehicle. as far as tire shine goes we usually pick a satin/natural finish and let the customer know that we dress to this finish to reduce sling on the paint. known of our customer really care about the tire dressings...which is good.

Phil can you easily remove the top of the TW hyper foam bottle to refill it? Or would you have to put it in a different bottle if you bought the gallon.

@@MirandaDetailing I don’t understand why they do that with those bottles. That product is a foaming product so I want the foaming trigger and I would like to just keep refilling the original bottle. Thinking about buying the hyper foam to use in the foam cannon instead of brake buster.

How often do you have to swap applicator pads when applying the ceramic coating?
@MirandaDetailing

Hi. I only switch out applicator pads if the one I'm using gets a drip of water on it or I drop it or if it rubs up against something and gets dirty. other than that i use one for the whole vehicle.

Hi Phil and Jess another great video as always. Keep it up. Can I ask will the Dr B’s polish and compound work with a wax or sealant also. I mean will the haze left behind also disappear still if I use a wax or sealant after polishing and not a ceramic coating. Thanks
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. thats a good question. so the NSP polishes are Sio2 based and leave behind what Dr Beasley's calls "Anchor points" that act as a primer for coatings. I haven't tried it with regular waxes and sealants since they are designed for coatings. I'm not sure it would work well with waxes and sealants.

How does installation of cs ultra differ to csl? How long do you let cs ultra sit for before wiping off?
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 11 ай бұрын
CSL I let sit until it flashes and I see lines beading up. It’s very noticeable. For CSU I don’t wait for that, because it’s a pro coating I apply it and wait only 5-10 seconds before wiping it. It bonds extremely fast.
@kimnewling5728
@kimnewling5728 2 жыл бұрын
Superb coating. Was the Ultra harder to put on then CSL? Question: I picked up a set of The Work Stuff detail brushes. I used them on leather seats. I would spray small amount on seat and end of brush. I then scrubbed. Up down and circular. My question is when I scrubbed I put tiny amount of pressure on brush obviously, and the bristles kinda "pancake out" and bristles kinda flatten out. Is that the proper way to use brush? I'm thinking I'm actually using the side of the bristles and not the end of the brush. As always cool new car coating. Hi wife!
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Thanks! The CSU was thicker and did take 3 towels to remove but altogether it wasn’t difficult at all. The results were incredible! You will see after 6 months in the upcoming maintenance detail video. Using the brushing sometimes does flatten them out but that’s ok. As long as they are cleaning well and you get the results you want it’s totally fine. I don’t use them with to much pressure so try to balance your pressure out so the bristles stay a little more upright. 😎👍🏼

Phil just curious how many pads you use on a vehicle that size using the NSP products? I clean out pads between panels and will change out after 2 or 3 panels. Just started using that product before applying coatings.
@MirandaDetailing
@MirandaDetailing 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. Yeah that’s about right. Since we are using so little of the NSP product on the pads it doesn’t need as much cleaning and switching out. So roughly 4 pads totals per vehicle.
