Ceriatone Gargoyle 50 | An amp made in Malaysia

Күн бұрынI have been hearing nothing but good things about the Ceriatone amps, an amp company that is located in my homeland, Malaysia. Showing my support to my local manufacturer, I ordered the Gargoyle 50, got the amp after the long wait, I immediately fell in love with it.

There aren't many proper Ceriatone reviews/demos on KZfaq, so well done! I got a 2202 (20-watt JCM800) as I'm more of a classic rock/blues players and it's a killer amp. If you want to do a demo/review for it, feel free to drop me a DM.

Great demo of actual amp builders rather than amp factories. Ceriatone has earned a reputation for a reason and, even if you want some higher quality components, the way they are built makes them user or tech serviceable, depending upon skill level. That you can still get these modern high-gain sounds, which require better components and wiring layout, speaks to the design and quality/

Nice heavy tones, what brand guitar and pickups ? How loud were you playing to get the heavy tones . Nice demo 🙂

Thanks man! The guitar is GOC Materia, stock pickups. It was pretty loud, but not at ear bleeding level. Like I stated in video, the volume gets softer when you’re in Modern mode, therefore you can crank it past 5 on the Master before your neighbour complains. Hope this helps!

How do they switch channels in a live show? I don't know if there's a foot switch.

It’s a single channel amp, so there’s no footswitch. Only high and low inputs

I believe that’s the way to do so. If you’re interested in ordering the amp, I believe Nik will be able to some mod to the amp for easier mode switching.

@@snakepitguitars4778 Thank you because I like and am interested. The tone I was looking for, I found. I had no idea. I used to have a lot of amps. They switched channels via footswitches. But I'm not used to it. This style of amp lol but I really like it. I live in Thailand. Thank you for your advice.

I waited for a year, we had lockdown here in Malaysia for months during the period. The lead time for now I guess it’s about 30-40 weeks
