Just a little bonus video from me, I've been promising to show you how I create my own texture boards for gelli printing, and here it is.
I've made a new video using these boards and this is the link: • New Texture Plates in ...

Dear Ceri, Thank you! For decades, I have collected odds and ends, bits and bobs. My supposed friends have given me no end of grief about my eccentricity (my word, they use less kind words).; unfortunately, my rate of acquiring materials far exceeds my production rate, so I have few opportunities to say, "See?!" Seeing your video has given a much needed boost to my self - confidence. Yours truly, A New Subscriber

I found this video very interesting, thank you. I haven't made one of these yet, but I think you can make your plates waterproof with shellac (aka button polish). A couple of coats each side, diluted with methylated spirit, will make it easy to get rid of ink or paint residue. I'm not sure how it would react with the spongy cutouts, but will definitely be ok with card cutouts. I do collagraph printing on an intaglio press and the plates need to be thoroughly sealed.

Lotsa' creatives out there named "kerrie" 😎 Just nosy--does the difference between the "a" and "e" register for you? People used to say things to me like, "kerrie--like 'carry my books'? Like 'carry on'?..." etc. I'd emphatically say, "No--like "go merrily on your way"-- 😂🤣😂🦀
