Don't be so wishful for "end times". There are plenty of good people still in the world. And after God already once destroyed all but Noah and his family and the animals on the Ark I don't think God is all that excited about wanting to destroy His Creation again. Think how much it broke His heart the first time. And I thought he said He would never do that again? But seriously, there's still good people in the world. They just don't get mentioned much in the media. Say you for instance. Our lives are short enough as it is, and no rush to make them any shorter than they already are, I think. In fact we are to live 120 years. God even states that, and it's engineered in our DNA and most of us don't get that far. Largely due to a health care system that cannot heal people and disease like in ancient times. You would have to have healers that could heal that if peopled lived for hundreds of years in ancient times as the bible says. Yeah I doubt they had HMO's back then. lol.

The main entrance to heaven and hell are from within. That is how one finds the holy flame within one self. That is something God taught me after four days of really looking for him for answers before being reborn with the holy spirit. Bits and pieces of the spirit can be found in real life and most fiction by looking for the spirit. Also, prayer must come from the heart, what we do is connected. Everything connects as one. Part of prayer includes looking for pieces of holiness with the same determination as a cockroach trying to find whatever it can.

God knows, but he wants us to come clean with him so he can change us without destroying us or ripping away freewill. We do not go to heaven or hell. Hell ------ sheol ------- hades ------- the grave. Not some place of ever burning, fiery torment. However there is coming some future Gehenna Fire that would destroy the wicked. Not torture them for forever and forever. The wicked shall be no more. To nowhere does the Bible teach the immortality of the soul. The Parable of the Rich Man and Lazarus ------- a Parable. Not a proof-text for an ever burning hell fire.

When a man dies, the Spirit return to the Father who gave it. But the flesh and I believe it says the soul lie in the grave! That's why I'm thinking that in revelation, where it says , the dead in Christ shall rise first" should be taken more literally. And that the dead are as Christ said, "they are only sleeping!"

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Cor.5:8 andJesus told the thief who hung beside Him on a cross: This day wilt thou be with Me in paradise. Luke 23:43. This doesn’t indicate sleep.

@@traveloguedog2730 doesnt the bible say that "God created man in OUR image"? Have you ever wondered what that image is, and who He was referring to by saying "in our image"? How are we told to baptise people? "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"? Point being, the Holy Trinity. Or the image of God. We were created in the same manner! There are 3 parts that make up each and everyone of use. When Christ was sacrificed, He went to Sheol/paradise, to gather the people of God who died before Him. And He brought them home! It is the Spirit that Paul was referencing when He said, " to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord! Proven by scripture, "man is appointed death once! When a man dies, the Spirit returns to the Father who gave it"! Which also goes right along with the scripture saying that "you are not your own"! Ever wonder how God knows every thought and deed of each of us? Because His Spirit is within all of us! Hence, the vanity and iniquity found in Lucifer! Jealousy perhaps? Most of this is irrelevant to my comment as I didn’t address these issues at all, and I did not attempt to differentiate between soul and spirit but simply referenced Scripture. Please do provide the reference to the Scripture you are citing: Soul and spirit, Scripture says, are so closely aligned/adjoined that only the Word of God can separate them! Hebrews 4:12 The destiny of any of us depends upon the will of God. Scripture admonishes that is up to each of us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. Phillipians 2:12

@@traveloguedog2730 Hebrews 4:12 but my Bible doesn't say what you wrote but, "even to the division of soul and spirit! What I get from the bible is that since we are created in the image of God, and " there are three who bear record in heaven. The Father, The Word, and The Holy Ghost, and these three agree AND ARE ONE. So it stands to reason to at least suspect that we also are 3 in 1! And I believe that it is His Spirit that we host! And it makes sense, if my understanding is accurate, how He knows every thought and deed throughout our lives! I'm not saying I'm 100% sold but that's what I gather! If the "dead in Christ will rise 1st", is it that he accepted the believers. But there is another verse and I believe it's in the Old testament the references, "when a man dies, the spirit returns to the father who gave it"! I'm just not sure of the last part!

Why hey want more we have enough demons already running around and rampant but from what I hear is that many serve their prince of darkness . Why not concentrate on doing great for humanity ?
