I'm covering CAA salaries and compensation in this video. I covered four main parts:
1. 1:36 Salary
2. 3:53 Bonus Pay
3. 8:13 PTO
4. 9:31 Retirement
*What I say around the 2:35 mark applies to the job my classmates took in the midwest straight out of school as new graduate CAAs.
A little about me:
I am a NYC native who always had an interest in medicine and pharmacology. I was heavily considering medical school and specializing in anesthesia until I learned more about advance practice providers in anesthesia. I graduated with my masters of medical science in anesthesia in 2021 and have worked two jobs since then as a board certified anesthesiologist assistant. I hope to raise more awareness about this awesome profession through this content. Outside of anesthesia, I am passionate about financial literacy and independence. I also love traveling and have a love/hate relationship with the gym.
I'll be covering schooling next and get into the costs to become a CAA in a later video.
This is not medical advice. New videos are posted sundays. Comment down below for any video requests!
