Why longus capitis has root value c1 c2 c3 whereas it only should be c1 c2 ?

The longus capitis muscle received its innervation on its lateral surface from the C1-C2 loop and the C2-C3 loop. The scalenus anterior has its innervation from C4-C7 innervation in spread nerves along its dorsal surface.
