Great review I like the way this bike is designed to have crash bars fitted and accessories seem to be quite cheap.

While i think it's a great package, that screen, with all that scaffolding, would annoy me. That, and that silly place, beneath the bike, if you need to adjust the seat. That being said, i think this bike, is well within the Goldylocks zone, and will meet, the expectations of many early entry adventure riders, in to this category. Bloody nice look thing too😀

Been looking at buying this or the Himalayan. Himalayan seems second rate compared to this. Switch gear on the Himalayan is mushy. This bike sounds awesome 💪🏽

Ride both. They each have their pros and cons.

Think this is the bike for me :D Only thing is that the cranckshaft of the ktm engine. I saw some owners of the 790cc ktm bikes haveing complete fail of the crankshaft at 13 000 miles..interesting. I am thinking of an transalp 1987 or this one..what would be the best choice ? :D...Nice review !!!

I am interested to see how long it takes before these engines explode, the frames crack, the electronics fry, the lights steam up, the rims fail. If these bikes survive, I shall surely buy one. Chinese made or not ! If they pass the self destruct phase, they have hit the jackpot.

Yeah long term reliability is sadly something I can’t test over a short loan. The 800MT has proven reliable and I’ve heard nothing about the 450SR the engine comes from being dodgy so hopefully it’ll last. Time will tell. Nothing wrecks bikes fast like ADV riding.

@@OnThrottle Thanks for the reply, yes your right, nothing like off-road riding to knacker a bike!

Is this a KTM review?
@OnThrottle5 күн бұрын
Well if GasGas are the red KTM and Husqvarna is the white KTM, I guess you could call CFMOTO the blue KTM 🤷♂️

@@OnThrottle or ktm the orange cfmoto. lol

its a very nice bike and a good price. On the other hand the T7 is 205kg wet, so some 10kg heavier. I would consider the T7 the more interesting bike but it comes with a much higher pricetag. if you are looking for a ore ofroad oriented bike, try the Kove 450, that is 50HP (in europe 40) and a wet weight of 165kg, but it is a bumper
@OnThrottle6 күн бұрын
@@ruedigerfriebel8454 sadly Kove aren’t available in New Zealand otherwise I’d be dead keen to give one a go

Why are you always on-offing the throttle? Modulate the power, as handfisted is never impress, even when racing. Did you take some pressure out of the tyres on that gravel? Maybe...
@OnThrottle7 күн бұрын
@@grahamrowe6278 because I was having FUN mate ;) And no, there’s no need to drop tyre pressure on gravel like that.
@florme64947 күн бұрын
Haha how dare you have fun, and not take pressure out of the tyres. You’ve upset Graham now.

I’ve not seen spoked wheels laced to the outside of the rim like that..
@OnThrottle7 күн бұрын
@@scottaubrey8392 they’re a tubeless design. Similar to what you see on bikes like the flagship GS and other higher end bikes in the segment.

@kevinarmstrong4786 күн бұрын
It’s a BMW thing - well they did it first so tubeless tires can be used on a spoked wheel. This alone is a massive reason for buying this bike.
@alanpestell86575 күн бұрын
Moto Guzzi V85 TT has had tubeless wheels like those since 21/22 models, I believe!
