Good job. And thank you for giving your inseam. I heard ya... Ran into same trouble with 390 adventure tall comfort seat which my ass needed. Best cheapest solution I came up with was purchased taller soled riding boots from ebay. $50.00 problem solved. Paying $200.00 to ride on a piece of hard plastic is a sacrifice I'm not willing to take. Thank you for your service.

When discussing seat height, you should include your inseam measurement because some people have short legs with a long torso. It’s funny because I have two brothers, one is a few inches taller than the other. When sitting at a table they look the same height, but when they stand up…one has shorter legs. Who says short people got no-body? 😂😂😂 Thanks for the review.

You can also gain another 20mm by changing the collar within the suspension unit

What is your inseam measurement? Also, I have salon one at my dealer and I found the suspension very very stiff - it hardly compressed when I climbed on. Seems the preload was also at minimum both front and back. It would be impossible for me to adjust for correct sag if I can't reduce preload. What's your opinion on this- maybe it's just not a bike for a lighter rider.

If you double check that indeed you are on the lower preload and still you are not getting around 30% sag then the only thing you can do is getting new softer springs. How much do you weight if you mind me asking?

Turn back preload. I'm 155lbs and it really helps with the stiffness ..maybe back off compression as well..

Cf moto has out now a rear shock spring seat ring that replaces the original one and it drops your seat 30mm it's only around fifty dollars but they reccomend the dealer install it .....

I'd prefer this as well , that thin seat alternative does look thin . Big comment on the 800T is that it's so comfortable on the seat so don't change that bit.

@@paulcollings5424 I have the low seat installed now,my dealer here in halifax dont have the proper equipment to put the ring on the shock .It's just as comfortable as the oem seat.I think part of the reason it's so comfortable is it's flat shape ! I'll never put the stock one back on...

You must of ordered them all, no longer available. .maybe they were catching fire, or catching riders arse on fire. Less padding plus same heating element equals more heat. I think that's why they are off the market ...prove me wrong please..I want one
