That talk surely was hard for a lot of the members. I mean, Makoto lost both her parents, Futaba's mother Wakaba was killed, Yusuke admires so much his deceased mother, Haru's father was murdered too (and not only they had a complex relationship, but she probably never knew her mother), and Ryuji had a bad relationship with his dad and a hard one with his mother. Lot of them surely know how it feels, deep down.

@@mimikyufates576 not really dojima never knew who did it he’s story was about trying desperately to fill the void in himself and distancing himself from nanaco because she reminded him of everything he lost and he was unwilling to face the constant search for an answer for the culprit who may be impossible to find simply because he couldn’t accept it and didn’t want to have to face nanco who didn’t know until the end of the social link that he mother didn’t just die but somebody caused her death in this case both of them knew and both of them were powerless to act upon it shame that he couldn’t bring to justice to the person who killed someone he loved and bring justice for his daughter lead zenkichi to be unable to even look his daughter in the eyes

In the Japanese version at the cemetery, when Futaba says “she’s ripping into him at an adult level”, she instead says, “oh my god, she’s using Keigo”, which is polite speech. It’s weird that a child would talk to a family member using Keigo, and it’s a sign of their poor relationship.

I really liked this scene but the amount of people that are killed by vehicles is just fucking ridiculous. Futuba's mom, Makoto's dad, Zenkichi's wife. I didn't even realize how similar Akane was to Nanako until she revealed that her mom was ALSO killed by a vehicle...just like Nanako's mom from Persona 4! Atlas enough! Can't you for once have them be killed by getting stabbed or shot? Especially Makoto's dad, who'd you think of all people would die this way! I was really enjoying this scene with Akane until they literally just copied and pasted Nanako's mom's death. Just have them be killed by criminals with weapons on purpose for once jesus.

@@daryno9073 Yes, because this game was in development at the same time as Persona 5 Royal, so there's a 0.000005% chance that they'd implement a character from a game which wasn't even released yet (But yeah, there'll probably be a sequel - I would laugh if it was with the Persona 4 crew too though, since PQ2 didn't get an English dub)

The ninth member is most likely Crow. “8 or 9” sounds like the writers wanted to let the player decide themselves whether he was a member or not, since he never officially joined the group. A very subtle reference to him, which made me really happy. Who knows how the public found out about him though.
