"Wheels on Meals"(1984) contains Hong Kong style kung fu, car chases and stunts in sunny Barcelona, Spain. The fight between Jackie Chan and Benny Urquidez is considered by Inside Kung Fu magazine as one of the greatest fights of all time...I agree with that.

There are a lot of nice littlde details in the fight. Like them taking off their clothes. They have to wait for an opportunity to do so because in a real fight they wouldn't just wait. Or when they moved furniture out of the way for more space.

Yuen Biao, Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan, best three of their time. Powerman; This is the best martial arts film. The punches and kicks come with pure force, something like that was not seen in any other martial arts film from the 80s. or 90s.

I can not believe this is film was made over 38 yrs ago. Not only its iconic and none of the stunts age in time, I wager no Hollywood productions even in 2024 can match this with the Action choreography, Comedy and the fighting authenticity. If this is not classic, what is ?

中学生の時、映画館に観に行った。カンフー映画が一番輝いていた頃ですね。ベニーは存在は知っていたが映像で見るのは初めてだったのでその迫力に驚きました。劇中でジャッキーが軽くブレイクダンスを披露するんだけどなかなか上手かったな今、彼以上のカンフースターが現れないのが残念です

I like the little detail of them having to get a hit in before they can take off their clothes. In a real fight they wouldn't just wait but attack you instead. And these kind of clothes are inconvenient in a fight.

이 영화를 영화관에서 봤던게 초등학교 5학년이었던걸로 기억하는데 정말 그 시절이 그립다 명절때마다 성룡 영화가 개봉했지만 돈이 없어 영화관엔 거의 가지 못했지만 인간미가 넘치는 시절이었지😢 그리고 80년대는 정말 홍콩영화가 최고였는데 주윤발, 성룡, 홍금보, 원표, 이연걸, 유덕화, 장국영, 장만옥 등등
