This is a terrific performance. We saw him guest conduct the Bruckner 5th and 9th with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1996.He was. 87 years old at the time. Memorable. A privilege to have had the opportunity to enjoy his artistry. Thanks for posting this concert video. Wayne from Alexandria, Virginia USA
I can't ever remember hearing the Bruckner Symphony No. 8 played with more passion and force. Just beautiful. Thank you very much for giving us this monumental performance.

There is nothing that makes me feel the pensive sense from the memories of late mother and the Bruckner's symphonies . From the Land of the Rising Sun .

Prayer of the Our Father that Jesus taught for the whole world: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us today our daily bread, Forgive our offenses, as we also forgive those who offend us, and lead us not into temptation, and deliver us from Evil. AMEN
Bruckner's 8th in "little" orchestration but nevertheless very impressive. This little version also in real sense of the word "GREAT BRUCKNER SYMPHONIc.. Very earthy, not mystic. Thanks

Nippon her karajan
