Being in the States, you only ever hear of the Eurovision Song Contest. All I knew from years past is that the competition is quite the spectacle to watch and both Abba and Lordi won when they entered it, haha. This year however, I got to check it out live thanks to streaming television and I loved it! I was definitely rooting for Finland. I found myself humming the song "Cha Cha Cha" for days. That of course, is like the bat signal (to myself) calling me to make a cover. From what I've gathered, Käärijä brought an overload of joy and cheerfulness backstage during the competition. If you've followed me for long enough, you know I'm all about that. As for the song, I didn't want to stray too far from the original, so those who haven't heard it can still get an idea of what a jam it is (while still adding my own personality to it). Hope ya dig!

But Käärijä has blown all over the world now, being also on charts in the U.S. which isn't even a part of the ESC. He might've lost ESC but other than that, he definetly won. And since ESC is pretty much nothing more than a political circus event, the fact that Käärijä is now all over the world is that much sweeter.

Also a good song but I dont get that eurovision vibe from it. I wish more non-english songs would take the win. Atleast we had a few entries in other languages.

As my friend put it, Tattoo isn't a "bad" song, just so awfully bland. While Cha Cha Cha had most of the crowd singing along despite the language barrier.

This is a surprisingly catchy song. I only hopped on the bandwagon this past week after hearing about it in the periphery. I know other groups have done covers and even English translations, but yours is always a good one.

@@Petra.666 I suspect this is probably unpopular, but I did not enjoy Lord of the Lost's entry that much. I got pretty hyped up when I learned that Germany actually picked something interesting for once, only to be pretty disappointed when it was just...alright. Käärijä and Voyager worked a lot better for me, so I was not that surprised that Germany had a tough time (though I expected them to do a bit better than they did)

I dig this song, your cover and the OG! I'd never expect a spiritual Rammstein descendant to compete in Eurovision, but here we are. Lordi kicked ass years ago, so more implausible things have certainly happened. "It's crazy and it's party." If that doesn't describe Finnish rock and metal, I don't know what does.

Kaarija is a rapper but for ESC he needed something strong like Finland always does! That's y it works so well with little metal vibe and of corse the CHA CHA CHA part is for release all the energy! Great cover and amazing solo

I'll definitely be checking the original out, I don't follow Eurovision but love some of the weird music that comes out of it. I saw Daði Freyr when they came to the states. Now that you've done the respectful version, tune it down, slow it down, rename it "chug chug chug"

Hi! I've been following you for years, thank you for your great works! I am not sure if you are taking requests but we have one for you and we will be very happy if you can check it. Singer: Harun Kolcak, song: Gir Kanima. Here is a little story about him, he was a very popular artist in Turkey back in 90s and 2000s, even though he was a rock/metal fan he needed to make pop songs for the industry.
