Estimado Conrado, la pasión se hace eco a través de tu música transmutando a través de tus vibraciones marimbísticas todo lo que alcanza.....dichoso del júbilo que entonas y compartes en tu interpretación desde el "SER" , ese del cuál Sartré hace referencia ...... una experiencia siempre nueva y renovadora que nos muestra tu "TAO" de crecimiento interior.....Bravo!!!!!! I have a question. Why are all the marimba renditions of this piece always played an octave lower to the original score ?

because the range of the violin isn’t nearly as far as marimba. Marimba has the beautiful earthy resonance to it when played lower, so overall it make it sound so much better. Some other violin pieces probably are better in their intended octave range but for something like a chaconne lower is perfect.
