Make sure to check into the agriculture laws for crossing state lines with farm animals. We had a friend move from FL to TN and it was a problem to cross state lines. They had tonturn around and take animals back.

I definitely feel what you guys are going through. I bought my first home as a single mom last year. I was supposed to close 10/31 and they ended up needing an extension which meant I moved right after Christmas! Moving is such a chore, but the end result will be well worth it. I hope you love Florida. The lifestyle is very laid back. I love living on Florida and I was a northerner most of my life ( except for a few years in Florida as a child). I feel blessed to live here in the milder weather ( although this is supposed to be a very cold Christmas). Merry Christmas and enjoy your time with family. Just concentrate on mKing new memories in your new home.

Oh my goodness, we literally packed our kitchen today! I'm a Mom of 4, and we live in a 2 bedroom condo in So Cal (born and raised), moving to a house in OK. I so feel you hun. 😆 We are so excited to find new homeschool friends, and church body. Praying for you sweet momma.

That’s really great you have help to pack. I moved as well but barely did anything because I had back problems so my nearly 70 yr old mom had to do most of everything. It was hard to see her do everything. I was told strictly no lifting by my chiropractor. I ended up giving away most of my furniture and sold all my appliances so my parents wouldn’t lift them. Luckily I moved to a place where every appliance is provided.
