For 100 years, Roncesvalles Division has operated electric streetcars in Toronto's west end. Vintage black and white and colour movies trace the history of the TTC streetcar routes and video captures some of the current milestones of this TTC streetcar division.
Jack Knowles, TTC historian, narrates.

He spoke of Eric Humphrey driving the Peter Witt. He did the charters for many years and is a very outgoing person.

I don’t recall if I’ve ever met him, but sounds like a great guy. I miss those charter days, sadly now a thing of the past.

Eric is a very friendly person and is very knowledgeable. He drove PCC 4549 on charters a number of times. He went to the Subways and then retired. George was the other guy that did the charters often. @@fares-please

Eric was Mr Streetcar! Worked with him out of Roncy.. had a house on Spadina.
