Chain Link Fence (how to)

4 жыл бұрынSo I made a chain link fence from Scratch. I used Luke Towans method(s) in creating my own. There were quite a few mistakes I made along the way, but overall it turned out pretty good. I didn't get a chance to put how I did the "barbed wire" on top - that part was just way to stressful and took a lot longer than I anticipated. Nice fence! I made a similar one but used a grease splatter screen from the dollar store instead of the toll or whatever its called. I found the screen to have a finer chain link pattern, and was a little easier to work with because it is rigid.

Elmer's glue (PVA) takes a little longer to dry but it dries clear. That's what I plan to use. I got my tulle (pronounced like Tool) from a local fabric store for $3.50 for a 6 inch X 6 yards. Cheers from eastern TN

Reggie. If you get time. Check out another KZfaq channel . Eagle Valley Model Railroad. This guy has a really great chain link fence method. He also shows how to straighten the 18 gauge copper wire and make a jig for fence. I just got done with seven 18" chain link fence sections using Eagle Valley method. Try 3M spray adhesive for applying the fabric Tulle.
