Krabi-Krabong refers to an ancient collection of armed and unarmed fighting styles in Thailand. Muay Boran and Muay Thai are descendent arts, as weapons always lead in battle. Kru Cho is from Chaya District in Udon Thani city and province in the South of Thailand. Muay Chaya refers to Chaya Krabi-Krabong fighting style, historically one of three most famous styles in Thailand. This is a video of Kru Cho's form practice with two swords. Video recorded Thursday, December 15, 2022. Very nice form. Thank you! I don't understand the use of open hand swirling and gripping with just the thumb, though. Is there a reason (beyond aeesthetics)? Thanks!

Speed and rotation. Thai swordsmanship does not emphasize cutting, but emphasizes cutting tendons.

I'm guessing this is more artistic than practical? I'd worry about training that is conditioning me to cross my feet. First rule of blade combat, don't cross your feet and they won't cross you.

this is another fighting art... difference way of thinking..slashing..moving etc.......

Good observation. I was taught the same. My guess is that in cases where greater distance must be crossed at extreme speed, the ends might justify the means.
