When I was a flight attendant in Chicago many many years ago I used to go to a little club called the Nickel Bag in Rosemont next to the Airport and watch Chaka with Rufus play and sing her heart out . It was a tiny little club but it was the most incredible times watching her and Rufus. I knew someday this woman would be on top of the world and she is and always will be

She's still stunning at 68 this month, and still has one hell of a voice.
