My family knew Chalino. He also played at one of my cousins quinceanera. The place got so crowded that he had to leave. So he played at my aunt's house for the family and my cousin in my aunt's backyard haha.

The 90’s were wild. I grew up in Compton, listened to a lot of Eazy, Dre, Zapp, we also had Chalino who was the Kurt Cobain of Corridos, and Nirvana of course, Quebradita was huge same time as Chalino, Wu-Tang Clan. I know every generation says theirs was the best but god dam didn’t the 90’s have some good shit or what!?!

One bit of information that is missing... before Chalino left to Sinaloa, he signed off on paperwork leaving everything he had to his wife and kids (son and daughter). I really liked this video u did about Chalino 💖🎧💖 He was on his way to being a real superstar and his murder had the opposite effect of what they wanted. They thought they were silencing him but instead sealed his legend. 30 years later people still listen to his music and give him love. I think whoever murdered him also killed his son.
