Thank you, but the water cannot boil in this way for 4 minutes. . I think you put something very hot to facilitate and speed up the boiling process. Thank you

Верх банки нагревается, горит и воняет. Идея гавно! Жаль нельзя подать в суд на автора видео, если будет пожар.

All I imagine when attempting something like this is sliced fingers 🤔.... I love how even working with something as delicate he still manages to be precise ... and who would have thought of using a stapler to join the edge of aluminium together ... excellent 👍 The first design is pretty good, but the second one is even better ... it's probably been done before but it's the first time I've seen it and it's fantastic 👍

Very good video! The burner runs even better if you fill the double wall with fibreglas insulation to help wick the alcohol towards the jets and gasify it. I have built a few of those myself and I believe you are supposed to sit the pot directly on the rim of the burner extinguishing the center flame but increasing pressure and letting the outer jets do the heating. Give it a try!

You can also use sheep wool I believe. Easy enough to find on fences etc, if you are in the countryside.

Not sure if this makes a good alternative, but would cardboard or tissue do too? Saw some sort of DIY wax candle video using cardboard as a filler, unless those are totally different things.
@tobiasgru436210 ай бұрын
@@randomsandwichian I think cardboard wouldn’t have the structure to wick the alcohol quickly enough. I‘d be hesitant on tissue.. but hey…what ever works 😅 I feel safe with the glasfibre as it is non combustible.

Seeing as he use two different diameter rings in the second build, wouldn't using a beer can an one of those slim soda cans work too?

I love most of your videos, but I still have to say that this is not recycling. It is in fact taking a can right out of the cycle, facilitating the need to make a new one to replace it if there are to be a constant number of cans on the market. Upcycling is just as difficult a word to use, because then the function must be established to be greater than doing an actual recycle, which is more a philosophical question.
