Can you guys believe it's been 10 YEARS since Dodge brought back the iconic muscle car that is known as the Challenger? How many of you knew that there was a limited run of them back in 2008? How many of you know that I had one of these before I got my ScatPack?
Take a look at some of my old clips from the time I had with the 2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 First Edition 4724 of 6400.

Damn...Seems like yesterday in 2008 when I was broke....at the dealership at about 11pm....just looking at that beautiful whip....it was majical...now I got a 2016 scat...ha ha....

Jason Leonard time flies and it just also shows how things like being broke and wanting something like that can motivate you. I couldn’t imagine the feeling of taking one home off the showroom floor back in 2008 would feel like.

I can still tell you where I was and what I was doing when I first saw the Challenger SRT8 in Motor Trend, and I can still tell you exactly how I felt. That car was the first Mopar to stir up both desire and emotion for me. Like you, I was in my early 20s(21, if I remember correctly), and knew when I saw it that I'd have a big Dodge with a Hemi one day.

I have an 09 SRT8, with the 6speed, in B5 blue, can't believe it is 10 years old, and still looks good as new, don't plan on ever trading it in as its is my first car 👍

That was a nice ride man! Bet you were pretty excited when you picked that thing up. Look at that steering will compared to the one you have now! Haha. The color was pretty cool

HighOctane R/T honestly I was a bit more excited when I took my Scat home because I never thought in my life that I would get s brand new car but even this one, it holds a special place in my heart. It was a fun car and if the previous owner took better care of the car I believe I would have still had it to this day.

K Jonezey whenever I think of Cali my first thoughts are traffic. Bumper to bumper traffic but I know that they do have some nice scenic roads too. When did you get your RT?

TheBlack ScatPack Yep. I’m in the Bay Area in which we have Bay Area backroads & the 17 mile drive in Monterey is beautiful. Had. My RT since 2015 Made a fe Mods & the Custom Dyno Tune really woke it up. I like your Scatt too. @gmecngr. Instagram. Thx for the follow back Bro. !!

I have a Black 2008 SRT Challenger with 39,000 miles. I bought it in 2018. I really like it . Mine was 3339 of 6400. There were 6400 made for the U.S. an 100 for Mexico and 500 for Canada. 1/4 mile was 13.9 sec. I think you said, 14.9 sec. There are a lot of SRTs out there, but only 7000 original. 3rd gen. SRTs. And a lot less now. No telling how many have been wrecked. Year one will always be a collectible. Do you like the Scat Pak a lot better and does it feel like it out performs the 2008 that much? Nice comparison on your new challenger.

Thanks!! I wish the condition of my 08 was better because I would have never traded it. A man in me neighborhood had a black 08 but he wrecked it. To me I do like the 392 a lot better but I’ve been told the modding options are a bit better for the 370. Either way both and fantastic cars.

I have 2011 dodge challenger r/t classic .white with stripes. I was buying a 2016 dodge challenger because of the interior and back camera and sensor system. My dealer kinda force me to buy it. Now I kinda like my dodge challenger. Only thing I don't like is inferior. Too straight lines. 2015 up they are curly shaped lines.

I had a 2016 SXT for 5-6 month before someone hit and run on it. I still have my first edition 6.1 modded with some and gas is a bitch here in the Bay Area. Shit I’m 10.5 mpg driving 90% inner street during traffic
