Synopsis: Tashi (Zendaya), a tennis player turned coach, has taken her husband, Art (Mike Faist - West Side Story), and transformed him from a mediocre player into a world-famous grand slam champion. To jolt him out of his recent losing streak, she makes him play a “Challenger” event - close to the lowest level of tournament on the pro tour - where he finds himself standing across the net from the once-promising, now burnt-out Patrick (Josh O’Connor - God’s Own Country): his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. Tensions run high on and off the court as old flames are reignited, competition builds, and love and careers hang in the balance; it’s anyone’s game. Challengers is the new movie from Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name).

First of all, like what on earth are you guys smoking or going on about? This is Zendaya's first big role as a lead actress. She's supporting in Dune. And this is the first major leading role for both the guys as well who come from the theater and streaming space. And zendaya is a producer on this movie. She did get Luca on board and helped make this happen!

One of the things I don't understand about Zendaya is how she constantly wants to be sexualized in movies without being sexual. I'm not saying you have to go balls to the wall but between euphoria, this movie and the one she had with John Washington she always wants to play sexual characters without giving any real sexuality in those films. You don't have to be naked to be sexual or to give off that feeling of sexual confidence

If actresses are sexual on screen it’s an issue and they’re degraded, if they’re not then it’s also an issue and they’re insulted… Now an actress like zendaya is doing a bit of both but not too much of either so you’d think people like you would be quiet and refrain from finding something to nitpick/be upset with but here we are…

Let’s keep glorifying the destruction of family and traditional relationships. Notice how we have gone from the kind of people that can love another to how many can in just a decade or two. What’s next on the docket, minimum age? Species? Whatever trends on social media long enough and gets a critically acclaimed film I guess 😅
