Great Britain told the peoples of the countries they colonised that Britain was now their homeland, not their place of birth. Those thus colonised cannot be criticised for returning 'home', which they have done in their tens of millions. In the decades since, those immigrants have changed the fabric of Great Britain, and it's up to those who live there to determine how that's all worked out for them.

Those who opposed Enoch Powell and still oppose his views should ask themselves; We had two world wars with millions of lives and pounds wasted while defending these isles from invasion. Then, for reasons I still don't understand, we invited foreign people and powers to just simply apply politely and walk in instead. We now have entire sections of Britain which are populated and even wholly managed by foreign forces, sections of which the indigenous people would not dare walk into in their own country. Why was this situation ever allowed to even be promoted let alone become a reality.

What times are these? Enoch Powell was fired for what he said. In general, that time period involved a lot of cancellations, particularly of anyone suspected of being a communist, where they were blacklisted from working and pursued by secret services. We're better off today where "cancellation" where just means "people don't like me on the internet".

That was then and when talk shows ruled the tv. That was the entertainment of it's day. Not so much now at all. It appears to have moved online, podcasts, vlogs etc. Never has one been surrounded by so many self styled experts who aren't famous but firmly believe they are. They have their own channel to view on sites such as this and interview other unknowns and have the most extraordinary opinions on anything. The public, many of them, choosing to believe conspiracies from people, (strangers ) online and that if one was sat next to a person on a train or waiting for a bus and a person (stranger) talked their conspiracies out loud, people I would imagine would feel uncomfortable. Though this is accepted online it appears. Extraordinary.

It's such a sorry state of affairs here in Britain today. Nobody will stand up, nobody will speak out and nothing will be done. Years of being told we should be accepting of others whilst being told we should be ashamed of our own culture and history. Years of being told the Union Jack represents colonialism whilst being encouraged to fly the flags others, years of having to accept the colonisation of our towns and cities whilst we are forced to give grovelling apologies for our colonial history ,which most of don't condone and none of us are guilty of. Years of us being told that when we go there we are "colonizers" but when they come here it is "multiculturalism". All of those years have beaten down British pride in our culture to point were our own capitol city, our own, beautiful London, that our Grandparents fought for is now barely inhabited by the English. We have labelled those who have stood up as hateful far right Nazis. So I'm sorry to say that there are no longer any "stiff Englishmen". Just emasculated men, who dare not show pride in their flag, country ,culture and history, for fear of being labeled a bigot.. I wonder where all these newcomers will go when Britain is just like the places they fled from in the first place.. Sad sad times.

Racist is not an insult. It's natural human behaviour. As Powell suggests, it's deliberatly ill defined. @@Demitrisplayground The term "n*zi" is itself a term of abuse. It's extremely undefined and does nothing but paint the caricature that has been built up by hollywoods propaganda. Anyone who you disagree with can be called it, for even the smallest difference in belief or values. I refuse to use the term anymore, even when referring to WW2 era Germany, as i realise that those who do use it on a near constant basis have little to no actual understanding or knowledge of whom it was originally used to refer.

Enoch Powell was a politician who understood the implications of mass immigration & what that would mean to the indigenous people of the country. Many other politicians of that time also understood those implications but few were brave enough to voice their concerns & when Powell did, he was promptly thrown under the bus & labelled racist. He was spot on with his predictions & looking around the UK at this moment in time it is plain to see that by importing the third world, we are fast becoming the third world. If only people had listened.
