dks Happy Anniversary to you and your husband. This was my parents wedding song as well, some short time later in June 1990. Brings a smile, and sense of home every time. And thank you India!

What you wrote is beautiful. This was ''our song'' too, but we weren't ''some people''. Happy 31st Anniversary.

I feel for people who didn't experience the beauty of a true love song they got married in 1990 and still married to this day
@mangojulie123 Жыл бұрын
What? They did not get married! She, Rena Jones, married Michael Day (keyboards) but he died of cancer in 2001.

I had forgotten about the recordings from this group,they had some really great stuff. The oldie but goodie station will play this every now then. I really liked his voice and they did a good job with the harmony.

This song never got old for me. I was 12 years old in love, no different today. Love is timeless, priceless and always fresh and uplifting. My daughter grew up listening to the 80s, she didn't hear 2000s + till later. She. Basically grew up in the 80s. Lol. She's lucky.

When I heard this song on the radio the other day, it brought back memories of amazing R&B songs of the 70's and 80's, so I felt compelled to see if it was on KZfaq. When I saw this video recently, the first thing that came to mind is the intense look on their faces of genuine love between them.

This is always in my heart. The recording itself isn't the greatest, but the truth in it is what carries it over the years. No tricks, nothing fake. Say what you will about the sentimentality, but nothing in the recording is fake.
