I do not understand why Alison & her sister Shelby are not on every award show,winning awards, and all over the radio these two sister have such a beautiful voice and they are the definition of country music it's a shame these two sisters are treated this way by the country music executives...I would love to seen Allison & Shelby in concert...

I'm on a roll looking up all the greatest versions of Angel Flying too Close to the Ground and Allison's is definitely one of the best! Love her! also loved Chadwick Johnson's version and of course Willie is the King!

Applause after that first phrase, as should be. Absolutely perfect in pitch and the exact notes needed. Kenny Vaughn’s playing right after that is just as perfect.

I can’t tell you just how many times it is that I have watched this in the last week or so. I had never heard her clear, beautiful, perfectly pitched voice before then. Kenny Vaughn of the Fabulous Superlatives does the solo after the first verse. As one of the comments says, she holds that perfectly pitched last note long enough for the echo of the Ryman Auditorium to bring it back perfectly. I had never heard any such accomplishment before. Outstanding!

It always surprises me how the best version of this song is so hard to find it's almost as if "it is too good to be allowed to fly on, as it deserves". Or, like so many have said, is this something personal against Allison? Anyhow, we love you, girl, you are the best thing to come out of this genre, and others, in a very long time.
