Be careful!!!! Clayton was the Worst 26 yrs ago, floors wood buckle after 3 to 5 years and they were known as the cheapest made in the industry. That might have changed. Redmond was the best. Actually, anyone was better. I'm Not in the industry anymore but would LOVE to know myself, like did Clayton improve and who's the best. Do your research. Maybe at the Library you can ask the Reference Desk if they have reports on that from Consumer Reports like they compare best and worst cars, etc. They must have someone reporting online, you would think.

Open floor plan is noisey and expensive to heat and cool. Also, it's meant for a more tropical climate, where every breeze counts and there's no central air. Open floor plans, like high ceilings, waste A LOT of $$ in heating and cooling.

This home is paradise! I like the separation of the rooms. I prefer a foyer instead of the front door opening into the living room. Cozy living room. Very nice kitchen and dining area. The accent wall is pretty. Nice panel doors. I love the guest bathroom; the flooring, layout and accents are gorgeous! 😍 The master bath is pretty too, lovely tub and shower. This is one of the prettiest homes I've seen on this channel.

Where does it normally go?? I’ve seen water heaters in attached garages and laundry rooms .. we don’t have furnaces/boilers in SoCal but I’ve seen them in basements in movies and beautiful old craftsman houses for sale back east. I’ve heard you can put a water heater outside but never seen it. Our ac/heater combo units (for central ac or mini splits) are on the roof or a concrete pad next to the house (I’ve seen mini splits attached to walls in video’s online).

Love that it is NOT open concept. I hate homes that are open it makes you feel like your in one room doing everything. I love that it has a front porch that is covered. A beautiful home I wish I could get. My current one is over 24 years old and needs replacement.

Now that Clayton's all time best price at nearly 2000 sq ft home. Love those L shape sinks and love the stand alone tub right in the corner with the windows above. Give that more modern look....I'm assuming it's right at $275K This home has a BIG 10 from me.👍💪💯

A nice footprint. I like that the main closet is not in the bathroom. As a person who made stone countertops for 20 years. Thise in the kitchen will burn scratch and chip. The porch is great.🤠

Wow. A lot of thought went into this design. I love love the way it's decorated! The way they set up those bedrooms is genius -- having that wide hallway area and a large bathroom with double sinks is so nice. I live in an open concept house, which I don't love. I really like how the living room is semi closed off.

Solitaire Homes builds pretty high quality homes. I’ve toured quite a few and know someone who has one. Definitely a step above in the build quality. Just not as “trendy” as the cheap stuff Clayton puts out.

Absolutely gorgeous build, and very nicely staged! Exterior - 10/10 - I love the stone choice and the colours all work excellent with one another! Very nice attention to details. Entry - 1/10 - No closet! One of my biggest complaints about some of these houses! Living - 9/10 - Gorgeous, love the fireplace! Would have liked it just a little big bigger, but it's still a good size. Kitchen - 9/10 - Love the pantry! Island & Sink are awesome! The light fixtures and hardware are very nice. Not a huge fan of the thin countertops though. Dining - 9/10 - The accent wall is perfect! Not a fan of the door there though. Either make it a larger sliding or just do away with it altogether. Bed 1 - 9/10 - It's a bedroom. Bed 2 - 9/10 - same. ha. Hallway - 10/10 - Beautifully staged. Nice to have the small seating area there. Could be a spot for a small office or a book nook! Bath 1 - 10/10 - Gorgeous. I'm totally in love with the floor tiles!!! Not too sure about the corner sinks - it looks good, but might be awkward for two people to use at the same time. Utility - 8/10 - Love the amount of space, but would prefer a door on it so the entire house doesn't need to listen to the machines going. Master Bed - 10/10 - ceiling is awesome, Love to see such a nice walk-in closet OUTSIDE of the bathroom! haha! Master Bath - 10/10 - wow. I love everything about it! Final Score: 104/120

I like the secluded living room and 5 panel doors. Chance, I was a drywall contractor for almost 50 years. 9'6" ceiling height is perfect! I've been in alot of homes ...but 9'6" is not too tall and much better looking than 9'. I did a designers home and they had a custom kitchen/ living room.

This was one of my favorites at the show. I loved the fact that it is not your normal open floor plan. That texture on the pulls is similar to what is on screwdrivers and ratchets, they call it knurling.

Love this so far. So unique. Living room fireplace wrapped with wood super nice. Love the kitchen dining room and pantry. Panel doors nice upgrade

I absolutely love this one. The sectioned of LR and the hallways reminds me of how houses used to be built. Really love the cabinets and the accent wall

I really like the layout including the spacious rooms and hallways. I like that someone at the front door can't immediately see the family sitting on the sofa! The whole house is very nice, I would only change a few small things.
