Chandelure has won the Taiwan National Championship in Generation 9 Scarlet & Violet Regulation G VGC. 2020 LAIC VGC Champion & 3rd Place at both the 2019 and 2022 Pokemon VGC World Championships tries out Chandelure being a tech on the already obscure popular Zamazenta core.

its not just body press, it does make a huge difference but wide guard is also way better in non dynamax format. kinda wish they didnt nerf the ability

With tera grass, the wood hammer crit didn't matter lol (102.8 - 122.2% on max bulk kyogre)

-1 252+ Atk Choice Band Rillaboom Wood Hammer vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Kyogre in Grassy Terrain through Reflect: 145-172 (70 - 83%) - guaranteed 2HKO after Grassy Terrain recovery but I haven't met a sane trainer who trains their Kyogre to be as physically bulky as possible edit because it somehow made a strikethrough the calcs

Goltres priorities bulk usually to reliably proc berserk & get the power from there. Grassy terrain healing + protect can get you back over 50% hp after procing beserk to get it again. Tera dark + black glasses foul play does enough damage to one-shot standard Caly ice sets

Game 2, why not bring Flutter when 4 of their mons are weak to Fairy? Trying to improve my understanding of the game

It’s a support Flutter Mane. FM has very little Sp.Atk investment so it’s not picking up any quick or one-hit knockouts, the opposing team comp is already mostly slower and FM could potentially get taunted halving its move pool and being reduced to sacrificial fodder. This flutter mane would not accomplish very much in game 2

Is Metagross just hamstrung by a Speed stat that's neither fast enough. nor slow enough, for modern play?

The protect being in different slots always confuses me, like if im about to time out i like to know what slot to rush to click is consistent (i use slot 4 usually). Also reelaboom needs more nerfs or to ride the pine and watch from the sidelines in gen 10 I'm so sick of seeing that thing on every team, one could say its the GD to my BD top opp status
