How much does Punjab has to loose? Having majority of martyrs from Punjab (pre independent era), Punjab endured loosing more than half of its area and its Capital Lahore to Pakistan. Then two states were carved out, Punjab being an agricultural state lost its control over bhakhra dam, which would have helped massively in irrigation and maintaining the water levels, and on top Chandigarh which was made over the acquired land from villages in Punjab, there shouldn't be even a question as to where chandigarh should go. Seriously, how much will Punjab loose?? 😥

Chandigarh belongs to Punjab it is made of 50 villages of Punjab at that time Haryana had not his state Punjab shared it but now give Chandigarh to Punjab also our land water which is mostly used by other states at free of cost

Haryana's real loss is not Chandigarh but...High Court. Now a Litigant from Sonepat has to travel all the way to Chandigarh to file and follow a Case. If Haryana has, say, Capital at Hissar, the relief this move will bring to litigants is immense.

Hey lallantop really like your content and thanks for raising this matter . could u please also make a video on the PUADH (PUADHI dialect) dialect of Punjabi language which is now on the verge of extinction because most of the villages who used to speak PUADHI had to give their lands for Chandigarh. And were relocated in other parts of Punjab. Don’t know if people think that it is a matter of concern but Language is the identity of a person and once a language extinct and the culture related to that language is also lost. Hope u make a video on this.

There is no superstition on sector 13. Absence of sector 13 is essential arrangement of original plan of 1 to 25 sectors. Sum of any two adjoining north south sectors is a multiple of 13. Like 5+8=13, 17+22=39 and 8+18=26. Sectors 26 onwards were added later on.

Let Chandigarh be UT we don't want to be a capital of any particular state ..Haryana have Panchkula alike Chandigarh and Punjab have Mohali .. Chandigarh funds would be misused by these states and UT students will suffer alot..

Let Chandigarh remain as is. Punjab can develop Ludhiana or any other city as their state capital. This will strengthen the state infrastructure. There is no pride in getting already developed area for Punjabis or otherwise. Similarly Haryana should develop Karnal or Kurukshetra there is no pride in cluttering Gurugram further

They destroyed punjab village which call puadi area ( in punjabi language) than they build chandighar . They destroyed these village just like 1947 . A lot of small farmer they lost there own land just in one night .

Chandigarh is better left alone. The city has unique culture itself . Educated , rule following citizens , clean city , well behaved people. Politics of punjab or haryana will take away charm of the city. Punjab is already debt ridden , it cant do anything good to chd . HR is richer state but culture is way apart , wont suit .
