I enjoy your chats so much. I do feel a tad disappointed that others mentioned they don't prefer the chattiness. The blue eyeliner is lovely. But the star is the lip lacque. That really stole the show.

Thank you! The one I just love is the blue mascara! You barely can't tell is not black, but it just gives that extra "different thing" about it. 😍

Beautiful! As soon as you applied the blue eyeliner, it brightened up the lip and more peach/pink began to shine through (it really lessened the brown hue on the lip) -- love the chanel blue mascara too!

Looks beautiful with your eyes, not sure it will work the same for me. Blue mascara was a big thing when I was a teen, we all wore it, that Great Lash royal blue. I recently got the YSL blue mascara, also a royal, electric blue, and I’m probably going to pass it on to my niece, it’s just too bright at my age. Navy mascaras look black, mostly. Benefit had a blue mascara that was less bright, more muted…but they don’t make it anymore. I have light brown eyes, hazel really, with a lot of green in them, and I don’t think teals or bright blues flatter them. I just ordered the Trish McEvoy “periwinkle” blue liner - it’s a soft, lilac blue - and maybe I’ll get the Chanel blue mascara. It looks like it might work without screaming “blue”!!

How did you like the Trish McEvoy periwinkle blue liner? I find the Chanel blue mascara very nice as you say, it looks almost black, but it gives that extra something to just give a different look (if you are in that mood). It is true, even for me, having the right kind of tone of blue, depending on your eye hues. One that doesn't work for me that well, but might work for your tone is the Victoria Beckham "Surfside" have you seen it? and of course her "olive" probably gorgeous on you.

uuuhhh good question, interesting combination...there is so many variations of blues, from metalic to pastel, from greenish to almost black , so it would really come down to your taste and what you want to wear it with. Sorry, probably not what you want to hear. One that might work is Victoria Beckham Surfside...it is not blue blue, it actually doesn't work very well for me, but perhaps given that it has some blue in it, could complement the hazel part....just an idea. Let me know what you try and end up choosing. Thanks for commenting.

@@Holly_77 it has some green to it, it is bolder/darker but yes, it is beautiful. One more option if you want more towards the true blues is the new Chanel STYLO YEUX WATERPROOF in Bleu Abysse, totally different color, but also complementary. Hope you enjoy!

I just got the Rivage palette, a little late to the party, but I love it 8-) If you go through the link in the description it takes you to the Chanel website and it is available, I really like the color, but of course it is about preference and coloring. I have tried it, as I own the WA brush, it is smaller and although they both do the job, I much prefer the Sonia G. It is one of those that I would go to the other room to get, even though I have others brushes in front of me, but as you know we are all different and sometimes it comes down to preference. 🥰💞@@cosmicwoman8044
