I also love chanel shoes! I swear by them. Lovely collection. Prices are INSANE. But I think I would STILL buy them. My favorite pair of chanel shoes are the beige x black espadrilles and the ballet flats.

Indeed, they are so comfortable and pairs well with everything! Prices have just gone crazy the last few years. Thanks for sharing! I haven’t tried the espadrilles yet :) yes the ballet flats are my favourite too 😊😊

Really informative video! Putting Vibram soles are a necessity especially if you wear them a lot, and in tropical weather where it rains all the time.

Thank you for this ! I actually want to buy my first pair but I don't know if I should go for the slingback or the ballarina flat... Which would you recommend for as first??? Thanks

Thank you! 🥰 It is a very hard decision!! They are both beautiful. It really depends on your life style and what shoes you currently have. For me personally, it would be the ballerinas, they are so comfortable and I always end up bringing them for my work trips when I know I have to do some walking. I also love how they look with jeans on a causal weekend. The slingbacks are beautiful too but from a cost per wear viewpoint (for me), the ballerinas are hard to beat. 😊😊

I find the added sole more comfortable, especially in heel shoes with delicate leather sole. I didn't add the sole initially on my RV 4.5cm heels, and every time i wore them (not on carpet), i felt like the ground was pounding on my feet and it hurt a lot after about 3 hours. After i added the soles, the problem was solved and I could walk longer in them. In my city, we do have to walk quite a bit with public transport etc, so it's probably my fault as well though.

I do find that adding the sole gives some "extra" padding and comfort too! How do you like the RV 4.5cm heels? I am contemplating getting either that or the flat version :)

@@gorillasinheels I'm not sure if my experience would speak for yours, because I have the pair with ankle straps, and for some reason the left strap cuts me at the back of my ankle. But overall I don't feel the height at all and I think the regular 4.5cm pump would be much more comfortable. I think you should be fine with the heel version! :)

Is it better for the slingback the fabric tip or the leather tip in the two tone?

Hi Elena the slingbacks I know only have the fabric tip I haven’t seen those with leather tip. The fabric is quite firm and sturdy.

Yes! Either the ballerinas or the slingbacks. The two toned ones are most classic and they match with everything 😊😊🥰

If you live in a place where you walk a lot and are on the move I would definitely pick the ballerina flats. It’s better from a cost per way perspective. However if you already have different pairs of walking shoes/ flats, then go for the sling backs, they’re unique to Chanel and looks really flattering on the feet 😊

Hello. Great review. Do you find the beige ballerinas breathable? or do they cause your feet to sweat a lot when worn for long hours?

Thank you! Yes I find them breathable. The only time I felt sweaty in them was when I was walking all day in 35 degrees humid weather.

No not at all! Quality has been great and no odour issues that I’ve experienced.

Love them first flats.My problem is blisters on heels.How long is breaking them in period? Do they require wearing band-aids on feet in the beggining? Backs of my feet is problematic

My ballerinas did not require breaking in at all and didn’t require any bandaids. In drugstores/ pharmacies, they sell a cushiony gel patch that you can stick at the back of the shoes. You may want to try that! For me, the slingbacks in blockheel version took a few wears, and the slingbacks in flats took quite awhile! (Felt more snug than usual).

Its really helpfull video and i want to ask you about ballerina, im planning to buy it online, my size also 37, shoud i buy size 37;or 36,5 considering your experience it getting bigig by the time of using it

I feel that each ballerina flat is different. If all you are a true 37 for all your shoes, I’ll get it in 37 to be safe. But try it in stores if you can to be extra sure!

May I ask if the slingback is true to size. Should I upside ?

Hi Coreen, yes they are largely true to size. I find that the flat slingbacks are cut very slightly smaller than the blockheel slingbacks. I’m usually a 36.5/37. For the blockheel slingbacks I wear 36.5 and for the flat slingbacks I wear 37.

May i know why do u need to get both versions with and without C?

Thanks for the question! Some of my shoes are in C cut while some of them are in the regular versions. It depends on the stock that’s available in the different stores. Some stores may have both the C version and the regular version, in that case I will try both to see which one fits better for me. Usually I’m either a 36.5C or a 37 regular. Hope this answers the question ☺️

so C means bigger?

Yes C means that it is a slightly wider cut. So for example a 36C is a slightly wider cut than a 36. The difference is not noticeable at all to the eye.
