If I recall correctly, Chanel explained yesterday that the Eurovision stage was the real deal so... they are keeping the dance-break a secret! It is very exciting because she is a superb performer, and to think that they are trying to elevate what they already have is ... woah.

I think Spain is a Very High contender for storming and winning the televote this year (though there's a few who could manage this, I think). But the fan reaction to this song has already been insane, I don't see the casual viewers Not going for it in the same way when they see her perform this song. Win overall? We'll just have to wait and see. But so far I think she has had the biggest Instant Impact to her live performance among the Eurovision community. I reckon she can do it again in Turin.

My top10 will make me happy if they win, I have to wait to their stage in Turin to decide, but for now Chanel is my winner. kyle hanagami was the choreography and he will be in Turin again, they are actually already trainning and he said that what they did in Benidorm was nothing compare to Eurovision.

Haha. I had exactly the same reaction when I saw the performance the first time. I had listened only a few of the spanish national selection songs before the selection. Slomo wasn't one of them. I was sure that Rigoberta or Raymond would win and didn't bother listening others (except eco). I was confused when I heard that another song was selected. I saw a very short clip of it and it did not wow me. Then I desided to wach the whole thing and I was immedietly sold. How can she sing so on point without any problems while dancing as the floor was on fire. 😱

Hey shane! Totally agree w u. Chanel is a Performance and the best point of this entry is the Live Show. The music Video was Ok for me. remembering the videos of 2000, very Ciara, PCD and JLO vibes. Kyle Still remains the choreographer and the director of the staging. Yesterday was confirmed Rod Sinclair for the lighting, has worked w Kylie minogue, Liam Gallagher. I just wanna see the water in turin

Many years either UK and Spain send average stuff but we end bottom. I think unfairly cos those songs are not that bad. This year I'm excited to see how Europe reacts to these very good entries from both countries. They don't have any excuse to not vote for them both

like you I enjoyed SloMo on first listen, but had a few that I really liked (and I didn't want to worry about picking a favourite then). I felt there was better things to come with the song. And then we saw the and it felt like they nailed it, the staging just lifted it into the stratosphere and the song has easily sat unchallenged at the top of my list since then. Hit the ceiling? I hadn't thought about it, but probably there with you on this... so I guess we are Dancing On The Ceiling now 😂 About the only thing I can see changing with the staging is lighting/screen displays. This choreo has such a massive immediate impact that it's gonna draw votes from a lot of casual viewers who only tune in on the night, a lot of other acts I feel like their staging is a bit of an unknown as they weren't anywhere near as polished with their own election show or internally selected and we haven't seen any staging at all for them

At the end of the day the professional jury got it right. She’s just fantastic. ❤️ The choreographer said when they released the video this week that he personally requested to work with Chanel because he thought she was so great. This video was fun, Shane! Seeing you so excited about this song! 🎉

As much as I love the catsuits the black ruffle pants was a serve. I’d love to see that as one of the stage outfits. I wonder if they’ll somehow incorporate the water into the esc stage performance since there is a water feature on the stage. Thanks for ur vids ❤️

I've really loved your chronological reaction to Chanel hahahaha. Sincerely, I expected more, I mean a powerful history behind where Chanel is the queen of something in a wonderful and glamorous place. But, well, I think we can consider this as a trailer of what she's going to show us in finals :). Also, it is a perfect gift to 2000's nostalgics T_T. Hi Shane fully agree with you, I had the exact same reaction I was lukewarm on SloMo in the studio version (Rigoberta was my favourite going into the live show), but was immeadietly addicted to SloMo after the live performance. Can't wait to see what she brings to her live performance in Turin! Has to be at least a top 10 for Spain this year.

What do you think of the "Booty Hypnotic" line now Shane? 🤣 I think you might have fallen asleep and that is why you missed Semi 1. You definitely mentioned falling asleep in one of your videos and missing an NF show. Is it worrying I can remember some of these specific details?😱🤣 There are generally a lot of songs that I love this year, and when I listen to them I think "This could be my favourite", But honestly, whenever I watch Chanel's live performance at BenidormFest, I just think "How can I possibly have anything else above this". It's almost perfection for me, and it never gets boring. Oh Shane, there is no way they could have got rid of the sexy mustachioed Spanish dancer, I would riot if they did. 🤣 On a side note, I am failing a bit with your NF intro songs. Though I haven't watched your reactions to the new Maltese song or the Israeli revamp. So fingers crossed I recognise at least one of those 🤞😁

Well when I looked at my playlist to check my most played songs of all time (I think I have had that account for over two years) for my Azerbaijan video, Chanel is already my 7th so yeah hahaha I have listened to that allot!!! Hi! I'm from Argentina. You may know Eurovision is not a big thing here in latin america. The people don't know anything about ESC, unluckily. Argentinian people likes rock or folk, maybe the new generations support Trap & the urban sounds. The mainstream pop, "is a silly gay thing" they think. I'm an oddball for being an eurofan. The spanish broadcaster is trying to lead a new festival for spanish speaking countries called Hispavision in the meantime. In LA we have some well kown fesrivals like Viña Del Mar (Chile) but is not the same... i luv ur videos, muaaack

I would love for Chanel to get worldwide attention and I think on the night she will give us a WOW performance. I still prefer some other songs from Spain NS, but you cannot overlook the whole package being delivered.

Shane, I just found you this season and really enjoying your take. If I might offer one suggestion: the volume of your intro is very loud compared to you on camera. Maybe try to bring the intro volume down to your volume. We agree on most songs - not all - but I still appreciate your takes.

Hey Amy....when I reacted to Belgium the other day I mentioned I loved their entry Ishtar where the lyrics are gobbledygook so evidently I do not hone too much on the lyrics hahaha....just the feel of the song :-)
