Hi I'm 52 with every under eye concern you could possibly have including very dark purple/red circles, lots of texture, dynamic and static vertical and horizontal wrinkles, crepeyness, and extreme dryness. I have yet to find ANY KZfaqr even the oldest, most mature women do not have as many wrinkles and problems as I do or even close. Before my 40s I never had problems with concealer going on, covering, and staying on although I only used or ever even tried the drugstore stick/lipstick type concealers and never liquid/dofoot because I needed full coverage and never felt like liquid concealers covered enough. With the drugstore stick concealers or concealers in a pot I didn't need to set them and had no wrinkles so it lasted and I just could reapply if needed. I never set my undereye with powder didn't know I was supposed to. But now that I'm older I have to wear two eye creams layered, then a corrector, then several layers of even full coverage concealer and still can't get even, total coverage under my eyes, the darkness ALWAYS peeks through, and concealers fade quickly or break up and I can't put even the lightest amount of powder unless I want to emphasize my wrinkles and make them crepey as f and age myself another 30 years. So unless there's a miracle undereye powder out there that doesn't mattify or dry my skin and only sets the concealer without making me look dry and crepey I don't know how to set my undereyes so my concealer doesn't fade, break up, move around, or look cakey and dry throughout the day. I've tried Urban Decay Allnighter and UD Hydrating setting spray and Mac Fix Plus on a beauty blender then lightly pressing over my concealer but since setting sprays have alcohol in them I feel like I'm drying my undereyes out worse and I don't notice it helping to make my concealer last. I've easily tried and have 50 concealers filling my top drawer in my bathroom that just go to waste because nothing works. The only concealer I've ever tried that doesn't dry out my undereyes and look dry as hell and creasing into wrinkles throughout the day is the Tarte Creaseless concealer and that is a concealer that always looks shiny and unset and doesn't play well with powder. But of all my concealers it's the most repurchased. Other high end concealers I've tried: Tarte Shape Tape (extremely drying and cakey on me) Chanel concealer that came with doughfoot and had a gel consistency in shade 10 (I don't like the reformulation of this same concealer) but 10 was the old one's lightest shade and perfect for the face but too dark for my undereyes. I liked the way the original one applied and looked but it just didn't cover enough and I do not like the formula of the ones now they changed to B10, etc. Nars Radiant Creamy (still too drying after it sets and through the day) Mary Kay concealers - very drying Ilia (drying and doesn't cover enough) Pat McGrath Sublime (looks good when I first put it on but turns into a dry hot mess later) Cover FX - too drying Dermablend stick and pot concealers - too drying Charlotte Tillbury Beautiful Skin - Looked cakey & emphasized creases It Cosmetics Bye Bue Undereye -same, emphasizes lines and texture Beauty Pie Corrector Fair/Light, ok but still doesn't completely neutralize the darkness Bobbi Brown corrector - same. Seint Demi correctors - absolutely horrible could not blend it was like putting wax that solidified on, and didn't neutralize enough, very wrinkle emphasizing As far as drugstore too many to list but will say NYX Can't Stop Won't Stop is the longest lasting concealer on me but of course looks dry under my eyes Revlon Candid looks and feels comfortable under my eyes but could not find a light enough color and like everything else doesn't last. Maybelline Age Rewind was drying and so thin it didn't cover well And Fit Me wasn't drying it just was watered down and too sheer even with layering. I dont want to keep going you guys get the point. With all of these listed and the results, do you think Sublimage will end up not looking dry or emphasizing lines or fade away throughout the day and cover well for me? That's not a product we can return nor is there a store that sells it anywhere near me. I know if I had smooth under eyes and not dry crepey wrinkles I would be able to wear practically any concealer. Also any setting tips thank you!

I feel your pain! I used to rarely wear concealer because of the texture emphasis you speak of. I would just use something like the Becca under eye corrector for a dewy look. It's difficult to predict how the Chanel will work for you, but I can say that it's the first one I have been completely satisfied with. Just be sure to smooth out your wrinkles and tap with your finger after application...once that is done, it won't crease again. I don't set it with powder.

Same with me. The only other concealer that works for me is Huda BUT I prefer the creaminess of the Chanel and it also lasts longer. It never settled in my fine lines or wrinkles and it really covered up my horrible dark circles and redness.

But I'm a more combo skin type a s older than you...but you also love the Chantecaille gel which is my hands down favourite foundation so I'm really hoping I feel the same about the cream foundation. Now I'm looking at the concealer! I have yet to find a concealer that doesn't make my under eyes look dry and older!!

Hm.. The armani has less coverage and is more.. liquid and glowy. I will do a concealer roundup for sure!!

I loved this concealer so much I went and bought the foundation. I will have a review of that soon. This line really is special and performs likewise

They do lean peachy. I was swatching a few of them and they all had that peach undertone. They tried to make this also a corrector and concealer in one so that’s probably why.

I have been using this concealer 90% of the time. I just love it so much!!

@@TaniaBWells I put a smaller amount of it in a glass pot, and easy garb for me in the morning. I don’t dry out the full original bottle .85 kinda became part of my skin care like an eye cream . On days I need to do a glam or all day make up, I just add up a brightening concealer like the YSL or even any lighter layer of Dior, it stays moist which I prefer.

@laurasenz I don’t have pores issue, so I can’t speak on that unfortunately. I also find it pretty smoothing. I set it with Givenchy loose powder which very blurring. Speaking in the scent- its very subtle in the beginning and fades away pretty quickly 😊

@@chrissymoss514 First, I use the chantecaille sheer glow rose face tint under the eyes and then I apply the Chanel concealer (the one that Tania used in this video). I forgot to mention that I’ve got this tip from Lisa Billson here on KZfaq.

Hm.. interesting. I don’t like when brands do that.. change the formula based on different locations. About the Chanel Packaging.. I honestly haven’t found it too bad. I got used to it and don’t mind it anymore. I still would have liked it to be in a different packaging but I love it so much that I will use every last drop of it😍

@TaniaBWells It's because the FDA hasn't approved the ingredients the EU uses AND it still allows ingredients banned by the EU. That's why sunscreen in America is approx 10 years behind the EU and, probably, 15 years behind South Korea! The brands have to follow the rules set up in each country/continent.

So, with the Chanel concealer, you have to put so little. If you put too much, it can be hard to blend out and just too much product. I put the smallest dot under my eyes. I do agree with the coloring that it’s leaning a little peachy but personally, I like that, because it helps with my darkness and the packaging is absolutely awful, I agree with that as well😂

@@TaniaBWells I am going to buy it bc I need new concealer. What I plan to do is use a small glass container to depot a small amount. I'll seal up the original to keep it fresh and work out of the glass container adding more as I need it. That way it won't be messy.

No. This is one of the best concealers I’ve ever tried. It is all about what you like though.

I bought a wrong color (B10) of this before that’s why not good! I have same color undertone as you (the foundation). Probably too light!

I actually did those tests and did not like the results at all. It’s all personal preference and I truly don’t think my hair color or clothes color look bad with my skintone and features.

Which I what I really want to be sure before ordering. I tried tho rms beauty and it seems to be the heavier coverage brother brand of jones road. I really loved the uncover fondation !! More work than usual fondation for sure but for the first time I had a SUPER natural invisible full coverage :0 ordered other products from them that I haven’t received yet.
